This guest sounds so old school (basically like a typical government guy). I also thought that his comments regarding individuals who think they should be teaching our children languages other than French, disingenuous and misleading. The fact that the government is the largest employer in this country doesn't make me feel very feel very confidant about the direction we're going either ... yikes!. Personally, I'd be encouraging my children to learn either Spanish or Chinese or both.

@Kittyburgers I understand you perfectly . We can't force two nations to live in the same country. We can't force english canadians to learn a language they are not interested in , and we can't force french canadians to sacrifice their identity.

We need two countries, one english, one french. Then only we can move on.
