I think I read that the code for randomly dropped E-tanks existed in the original game, but was made inaccessible. I guess the change wouldn't be terribly hard to hack into the game.
Considering what the weapon does and Flash Man's high damage from the P-shooter, chances are it's something like he's invulnerable and instant-kill to contact most of the time but when he pauses to shoot he becomes vulnerable.
Wait... I know that song in the intro... It's from an FF... I just can't remember where it was used, but unless I'm wrong, that's Figaro Castle's theme in FF6. =)
It's a good song, but actually it's more of the "epic theme" used in FF6 when either something exciting is happening, or, for example at the part of the game when the team is riding that minecart-like device through the tunnels in Midgar (and has to fight those various enemies along the way).
Yep, you're right...Haha, it shows you how long it's been since I've played both of those games, but the music in both of them is awesome, so quite a fitting choice!
As much as Bubbleman gets made fun of, he IS one of the few MM2 bosses that provides a challenge in a buster-only run.

LOL! I know that "cirsusy" BGM!
It's from a NES game called
"Kamen No Ninja Hanamaru"
You'll hear that BGM during Space-themed stage.

The song for MetalMan's stage is the same song used in BubbleMan's stage in MegaMan Ultra!
SarothCyngus 2 years ago
I'm pretty sure it's from one of the Mega Man X games.

I would have laughed if Yashichi had Mario's Starman theme playing while you used it. Seriously!

Music is awesome! I wonder if this or any hacks have an 8-bit Storm Eagle theme.
What's the difficulty like? I've played most of the other hacks; excellent music but the difficulty levels in them are way way WAY too high.

The sniper Joes remind me of the shots Skull man shoots in MM4.

I kinda wish I can do this run better. Metal Man's level is the one I can't do pretty well.

Bubbleman getting an awesome weapon? "Bout time he got some love on the firepower front.
Also I love the bit where you made fun of Sniper Joe in Flashman's stage.

Flashman's new music is from Kamen no Ninja - Hanamaru, the Japanese version of Yo! Noid.
