Very Good, Boeing. Always liked Boeing planes. I have flown one Airbus jet and I DO NOT INTEND TO FLY IN ONE AGAIN. It made so many noises taxing and take of and landing I wasn't sure we would arrive at our destination safely. NEVER AGAIN!
@TidemoreLongspot841 I don't see why your so worried? Thousands of Airbus aircraft fly around everyday without incident? Boeing and Airbus make pretty similar aircraft? Nothing to worry about.
@TidemoreLongspot841 Aircraft tend to be noisy machines. I'm a fan of both Boeing and Airbus, the competition between them makes them both great. I've been in very noisy Boeing jets and very noisy Airbus jets. Also been in rather quiet jets from both of them. Engine choice (RR, GE, PW, et al), aircraft model, and its age are the factors with the most impact on noises, noise, and noisiness, not whether it's Airbus or Boeing. :)
I am SERIOUSLY impressed with this plane. Airbus has NO chance with their A350 that hasn't even made it out of the planning stages. I suspect that this plane will see service for at LEAST 30 years. I would love to be at the controls.
Is it just me, or is there a 'weak link', to potential access to critical information of the aircraft using Wi-Fi? It would need to be a fixed password so all the techs can access the tech info, so that is the weak link. I would be more happy with a direct cable link... Hackers would like to expose the weakness's of the wi-fi security... who knows what else can happen. Nightmare scenarios... Especially with all the security breaches lately. Else, I like what i see. Wi-fi for passengers, yes. :)
you guys already had the top cabin all you needed to do was extend it build a super jumbo years ago, its so hard to understand how you could wait and watch airbus build the a380 and not extend what you had already (it was the underestimation of the decade and you know it)
Finally, some footage out the passenger window! Great to see what we're going to be treated to in coming years. You have designed a very elegant wing, Boeing!
"The 787 has enough fuel left to fly to Hawaii". Any reason why this short route was flown with that much reserve? To simulate the weight of passengers on an actual flight?
The only problem with this plane is that its made of Composite meterials rather than Aluminium. Crack will be a difficulty to fix!

@mcmanus1806 Can't they use Instant Krazy Glue on a crack.

@soniclover123456789 How is it unsafe? Becuase It does not have the triangular wing tip?

ANA should test this airplane to Manila to simulate landing/take-off in tropical conditions
EpicThe112 7 months ago
@EpicThe112 I agree - performance testing is quite essential, especially on different kinds of conditions, such as high altitudes and hot climates...
ryanwalean 7 months ago
@EpicThe112 it should be in Hawaii it will do the tropical conditions simulator and it will make the plane practice fly to longer routes from Japan

@Aries14701 I'm pretty sure that hacking the wi-fi is not that easy. As it is, don't some aircraft already have wi-fi equipped?

i like how the engineers gave a 90 degree bow to the plane when it departed

@hotrod4you2 the era of the superjumbo is over. airbus needs 450 a380's to break even, they have 230 orders with 48 delivered
