can someone please help i just got my m4 and while putting on the battery the locking collar spring got loose and came off of the locking collar and i dont know how to put it back on, any suggestions?

Okay, I just bought this same exact gun a week ago and just rescently used it in an airsoft war yesterday. About after the first 10min. or so of using it on full auto, the ROF dropped dramaticlly. It's new and the battery was fully charged so there is no excuse for this to happen. Does your's do this or did I just get ripped off on a cheap, deformed battery?

P.S. Do you know if I could fit a 9.6v mini battery in this gun without any upgrades or braking the gun?

Mine drops but not that quick. Make sure you don't overcharge your battery (only charge it 6 hours max) and make sure the battery is completely dead before charging it up.

Thanks man, I've been charging mine for 4 hours. That's what most websites and friends have said to do. Do you think I need to charge it longer? And I do wait untl my battery is fully dead before charging it. And if the problem continues, would a new battery fix the problem?

Yea didnt you watch the vid? lol. Its full auto 1000 Rounds Per Minute Full Charge but averages 850-900 usually. Its $135-$150 USD depending on where you get it.

Hey snper545, what's your problem? First of all, if the gun was so "shitty," it wouldn't be sold out on all mojor airsoft sites. Secondly, it may not shoot 375, but it DEFINITELY shoots at least like 340 or higher (proven chrono test). So next time, know what you're talking about before you start yappin away.

The reason they're sold out is because all the noobs go out and buy it because its CHEAP (and when something is CHEAP it is usually SHITTY) and think their getting an awesome gun when they're not. This gun couldn't touch mine. It's a plastic piece of shit. And as far as the sites being sold out, take for example the UTG guns, when they came out, most stores were sold out because they were so cheap. And so are these.

however CA is more expensive, therefore of (generally) better quality. the Echo1's have 16 ha. wiring and full metal gearboxes just the the CA's.  they even have a CA Ver.2 Gerbox In them (echo 1 new models)

so i dont see why its such a "shitty" gun.

And the gun does shoot at least 350, because I have seen multiple reviews that have chrono'ed it and they all say the same. So stfu. It can be used for CQC if you take the stock off...However it's best used for long-range combat. You can the the High-Cap Mags at Airsplat dot com...the gun comes with one high-cap mag. Oh, and Echo 1, GB, and JG are ALL THE SAME COMPANY :)

Depends. In paintball, you usually only get shot once, but in airsoft you usually get shot like 10 times. If you are far away, it doesn't hurt , but from 50-75 feet they will leave bloody welts.

i have the exact gun and mine shoots around 360 fps with .20g ammo. that drum mag looks great! a 9.6 volt battery will raise the ROF alot.

It actually suprised me with the quality. As you can see, the only plastic parts on the gun are the body, the foregrip, and part of the butstock. The plastic isn't cheap either, its very durable.

The only bad thing about this gun is that it is a hassel to get the battery in, but once you get used to it, it's very easy.

Yeah the battery placement might be a hassle but the real M4A1 has tight fore-grip panels.. so it's realistic. All in all VERY nice. (I only know about the front of the gun) My brother bought a replacement for his full plastic gun (no joke the outer barrel and front sight were plastic). But yeah, another impressive echo1 is the G36c, and you won't have to worry about a metal body (because they weren't made to have one "no crap eh?")
