  • 'SEE ya....wouldn't wanna BE ya!' is so 80's, lol

  • I was expecting lil Omar to say "keep that shit", but then I realized who it was....

  • That is REALLY mature...some grown man shit for real. No petty thug.

  • not saying it cant happen, but it was probably overlooked by the writers

  • Oh my lord! what series is this from?!?!

  • Jesus, some guy has 3 guns in his face, and his biggest worry is spending a day at the fuckin' DMV? shieeeeeet!

  • @migkillertwo rotflmfao now that's funny.....I was just thinking the same thing

  • I thought these prequals were supposed to be on the season 5 boxset. I can't seem to find them though. Well anyway im currently on season 5 episode 1. Is it ok to watch these prequels now or is it better to wait until after i have seen all 5 series.

    Deeply appreciate feedback here.

  • @rob14swans theres a good chance your already done with the series by now, but i would just wait until your done with the entire show until you look at anything wire related on the internet, cuz stuff gets so easily given away. like what if you just accidently saw some video thumbnail on the right that gave away some main characters death or something?

  • Is there many episodes or a long shot??? Where can I Find it????

  • very noble

  • omar got his scar on face since he was a kid, lol

  • how come young Omar and his brother are Muslims, but his grandma got shot at while he was taking her to church?

  • @falconsfan1982

don't think they are muslims, probably just popular hats back then

  • @falconsfan1982

During this time period, some of the styles worn by non-Muslim African Americans was influenced by the rise of Islam within the black communities. And I think they are just knit caps ;D

  • @falconsfan1982 because people can convert you know.

  • @falconsfan1982 They weren't muslims...

  • @falconsfan1982 and the 10 likes, my beloved grandma was a catholic. I'm not. So?

  • @falconsfan1982 ahah!

  • It's "No Heart" Anthony. He tried to rob a bank, got cornered by the cops. Instead of going to jail he turned the gun on himself, shot himself In the chest and lived, thus the name "No Heart".

  • Snoop (about Michael): ''Always apart, always asking why when you should be doing what you told."

  • yeeee

    keep dat

  • Seeing this makes me wish real do-dirt niggas had codes they lived by.

  • @tabbypappy Guys used to have codes. Fight with fists and baseball bats. Than you have some jokers who'd get their ass handed to them and come back with a gun or a knife. Shit just got out of hand from there.

  • The game is the game.

  • A great scene that demonstrates the intelligence, calculation and strength of character of Omar at an early age.

  • What was this from? Was there a prequel show I don't know about?

  • @GGGeoff It's part of The Wire Collection Box set. It also has the prequels of a young Proposition Joe and when McNulty and Bunk first met as partners.

  • "You took 16 dollars from that man on his way home from work"

The look of disgust on Omar's face when he said that was amazing. It's what made Omar so likable. He wasn't just badass, he has his code and morals. Any man who lives by a code and ethics deserves the upmost respect.

  • "Your brother not cut out for this here shit."

You're talking to the wrong brother.

  • Anyone know why these prequels aren't on my season five box set?

  • lol Omar

    'Give it back'

  • I thought it was "No-Hard" as a reference to his refusal to be returned prison being so great that he tried to take his own life rather than do "hard time". Hence no hard anthony.

  • You do realise its "No-Hard" Anthony right?

  • @teas926 CORRECTION: His brother's nickname is "No Heart." Heart connotates one's spirit, hardness, etc. When Anthony attempted to kill himself at the end of the police chase (in the McNulty story), he put his gun to his chest and pulled the trigger. He lived. As such, the moniker "No Heart" refers to both his constitution and as reference to his method for attempting suicide.

  • @teas926 It's No-Heart Anthony because he shot himself in the chest. Subtitles on the DVD sais so.

  • @amayagab isnt this the no-heart anthony that Kima doesnt know of when Bubbles mentions him to her and him and Mcnulty laugh at Kima for not knowing him?

  • @LeBronForTheWin That's right.

  • "I rip 'n run." "I robs drug dealers."

  • @teas926 true dat

  • Omar...Coming

  • Omar and Snoop, my favorite characters on the show. Larger than life, y'all, larger than life.

  • Man.. Omar is the baddest mothafucka alive.

  • omar rules.

  • Green is Robin's Hood color.

  • a man got to have a code

  • @timj41 true.

  • was this on the show? if so what season ?

  • Hey man, your brother ain't cut out for this shit!. Hahaha best line. Little did he know omar would make a living out of robbing people and go down as one of the most feared men in Baltimore.

  • What is this from??

  • Nice to know homosexuals can be killers too.

Having said that, Omar was my favorite character from the best TV show ever....

  • i think no heart anthony is a double meaning. because he shot himself in the heart of course and also he doesnt care if he robs a working citizen. he has no heart unlike omar who only robs drug dealers.

  • INDEED.

  • is this the whole young omar thing????? or is this just a short part of it cos i read somewhere that it was a short film about young omar and i really want to see the whole thing

  • @ainsleywainsley I think that this is the whole thing.

  • i tohught no heart was omar....they shouldnt of put that scar there at such a oyung age....i assumed he got that scar at aolder age payaback or revenge for a jack move he pulled

  • ???how r there prequills?

  • Just to correct the description, it's not Anthony that gets shown up, it's their "friend". And it's not No-heart Anthony it's No-hard Anthony because he refused to do hard time and would rather go out with a bullet than get caged again.

  • @SunSurfer777 No. It is No-Heart Anthony, a name he received after attempting suicide by shooting himself in the chest. He survived and the name no-heart anthony was coined.

  • Comment removed

  • @SunSurfer777 False on both counts. He sticks the gun in the friend's face, but Anthony was (presumably) in charge up until that point. They're both shown up. And his nickname definitely is No-Heart Anthony.

  • @SunSurfer777 its no HEART anthony because as mcnulty put it he shot himself in the chest when the cops cornered him but he didnt die.

  • Man gots to have a code.

  • c ya wudn wanna B ya

  • omar ain't petty i likes dat

  • is this the whole clip?

  • Yes. The episode starts subsequently.

  • Is this it or is there more?

  • where is this from?

  • @pman710

    Season 5 dvd

  • Huh?? Where did y'all get this prequel??

  • @bachaka61 It was incl'd w/the box set of the entire series.

  • This video rocks.

  • Anthony.... gi-it back.

  • THANX for checking out the sickest female MC on EARTH but nah for real check me out Def. one of the greatest unsigned MC, check me out leave a comment, and real talk its who you know...SO if anybody is feeling my shiiit...REAL TALK and believes I CAN MAKE IT than plug me in with the right connect and get a percentage of what ever the DEAL IS... HOLLA FRONT...

  • Oh man, always asking 'why?' and 'not cut out for this shit'. Sounds like another character on the show I know... Shits brilliant.

  • @phagyna michael is a soldier as well, however, he wasn't down for doing things blindly and "just because". i think thats what lead to chris and snoops downfall

  • Omar way too young. When he testified against Bird, he said he was about 29. That was like 89-91 when shit started happening. He like 12 on here lol. But anyway showed homie wasn't for the petty shit, robbing regular folk

  • @mkvl1490 Actually, that is a noticeable mistake: in the last season when the coroner is recording his info, his birth date is given as 1960.

  • @tommyt1971 making omar 48 at his time of death? nigga please

purposeful mistake by the writers to show that in the end...omar's life had no meaning to anyone in baltimore

  • @brabon1 YOUR MATH IS WRONG.. If he was born lets say.. in' 74. that puts him in 5th grade. '72 7th.. so that's about right.

  • @Immutef the coroner listed bd as 1960....so in 85, he would be 15....does that look like a 15 year old to you?

remember the scene? the tags were wrong at first

omar was not 48 when he died...he was in his mid 30s

  • Omar got killed by a little omar at the end.

  • That's Omar, always the gentleman thief... who doesn't fuck around.

  • "I don't think your brother is cut out for this shit"...no he cut out for much larger stuff.

  • As much official as this is, I find it hard to believe an 8 year old kid is cruising around with a gigantic scar across his face BEFORE getting in The Game and without being given shit for it.

I always thought Omar picked up the scar somewhere down the way during his stick-up days.

  • @Strand0410

I agree - that would be more likely. I think they are just making sure we know which kid is Omar, but they aren't giving the audience much credit.

  • they should have also done a prequel for Marlo, Cutty, and Avon when he was growing up with Stringer and Wee-Bey,

  • A true man conflicted with right and wrong, stays true to his principles/morals through out the series, as everyone knows!

  • "how do we know what Omar looks like?" - Officer

"When you see a corner boy...running away from a corner with shit in his pants" lol

  • They should do a whole prequel season. The rise of Avon Barksdale, of course with Omar, and Prop Joe, and Marlo as corner boy.

  • Omar fucking Little... that dude is one scary motherfucker

  • i wanted to see more of omars older brother. the spoke about him like he was a legend in season 1

  • always love omar.

  • Love Omar RIP HOMIE

  • "Every man has to have a code"

  • OH Indeeed

  • Omar, not too far from being a modern day Robin Hood.

  • @CidHighwindRocks robin hood? i never saw omar give shit to the poor....lol.

  • @slimithy12 Didn't he give some of those vials to the dope fiends in season 1? Thought that was why he was hiding out in a house with one while his van got trashed.

As for the Robin Hood reference I was thinking more about targetting the rich/ corrupt and having a code to only steal from them.

  • where you find this stuff from

  • "He all alone and shit".

  • Young Omar, a leader and a strategist from the very start

”Anthony man, your brother not cut out for this here shit”........little did they know

  • Omar...best and rawest character in the series

  • I hope Omar not-robs me some day.

  • What I don't understand is, Omars tag on his bodybag stated he was born in 1960, but in this hes no older than 15. Plus there is no way he was 48 when he died.

  • @Deathtez88 ..that was a nod to the real Omar...even though he's still alive.

  • probably my fav prequal but It doesn't fit in so well considering Omars one weakness was that he underestimated kids but as a 11 year old he pointed his gun at someone.

  • @ichater True in a sense, but at the same time grown ups tend to forget what kids are capable of as they get older. All grown ups do that in some way; Omar proved no different.

  • @ichater is there a full episode of this somewhere, and where can i find it,all i can find is these quick trailers,am dying to see the full thing.

  • I love how Omar disproves EVERY homosexual steorotype. He is the baddest man in Baltimore, Ray Lewis has nothing on him.

  • @alec1115 Well, he doesn't really since this is a fictional tv show.

  • @alec1115 what movie is this in 1985?

  • @alec1115 too bad he isn't real... lololol

  • where that scar came from is what i wanna know

  • What the fuck is this.

    Name of this please.

  • @Byson1871 the wire duh

  • What the fuck is this.

    Name of this please.

  • Where are those two others besides omar now when he was with the stick up crew?

  • how the fuck did he get that scare

  • lol he wasnt in the game

  • is this made by the same people who made the wire?

  • @playatimsta yeah

  • @playatimsta its a prequel to the wire that was on the dvd

  • @pacmanlegend not on the european versions

  • Although both were involved in a life of crime at an early age - Omar and Kenard are a different breed.

  • the wire is an amazing show but this prequel is just stupid the actors werent any good and i find it hard to believe omar would have had that scar when he was like 10 its not a fucking birthmark

  • @misremembered72 Yea I agree man! You should read how the actual actor (sorry can't remember his name) got that scar, its really interesting some gangs fight in brooklyn....

  • @ChrisnSnoop

    Already answered, thanks.

  • Oh ok I get it now the 3rd kid is John Bailey when he got killed McNulty told Omar

to let his brother Anthony know that "they blew up John Bailey last night" ok know it makes sense.

  • young omar my cousin like shyt

  • Cock sucka

  • I think 'knowledge5595' needs to come out of the closet and stop hating himself. hahaha

  • na i think you do bitch. Fag lover

  • @knowledge5595 In the words of Brother Mouzone "They will see you as conflicted. Your homophobia is so visceral" hahaha, mug.

  • @knowledge5595

Knowledge? That's the name you chose on youtube? That's got to be an April Fool's joke, right?

  • @knowledge5595

    Why are you so homophobic?

  • @knowledge5595 homophobia is just as bad as racism

  • Omar dont play i wish he wasn gay though. The gay parts of the wire is stupid. Always fast forward on those scenes

  • @knowledge5595 Why,thats a really interesting part of the story,

  • that's definately ol school right there...i wonder if omar and anthony might've been muslims or 5 percenters cause of the headwear and especially anthony's jacket

  • how noble of him lol

  • he says "i don't harm anybody that is not in the game".

    he shows it here.

he knew robbing that man just trying to get home from a real job was wrong.

but he is heartless to drug-dealers doe.

  • ay, who cares what age he was. it's a tv series not a documentary.

    lmao..

  • "that be the mother fkr at the bus stop we goono rob"...lol

  • "A man must have a code."

    -The Bunk

  • Oh no doubt

  • Gangsta ass robin hood... Awesome.

  • is that wycleff at the bus stop...omg i think it is

  • @crise1 ummm no dumbass

  • @pacmanlegend its a joke you idiot

  • In season 5 we find out Omar was born in 1960 so he'd be 25 in 1985.

  • Really, because in season 2 trial against bird he stated his age was 29, and when he died in season 5, monk read out his age. "dead male, 32".

  • The tag on his toe at the end says 1960 was the guy next to him also named Omar Little and that's why the doctor switched them?

  • This scene takes place in 1985. And the kid portarying Omar is a Kid. How would he be 25 now? What I want to know is do you think omar is 25 in 1985, this clip? And if so, I just can't imagine why man?

  • @hoganmac ummm no thats not true. on the wire website it says this: Omar Devone Little was born in Baltimore in 1973. Few details are known about his early life, although several associates said he was raised by his grandmother and remained loyal to her throughout his life

  • @hoganmac nah man they had the names on the bags wrong

  • does anybody else think that the other guy in this, not omar or his brother, is bubbles? he wears that kango hat that bubbles always wears and omar and bubs know each other in the show, but nobody ever says how. What do you think?

  • Comment removed

  • Omar wears the same Kangol hat in series 5 when he steps up to Michael on the corner. Gutted he dies in that manner man, suppose they can't glorify him though can they?

  • @nhynes1210 nope. not bubbles.

  • thats a good question.but...

bubs knows everyone and everyone knows him.

hard to picture bubs ever being this ruthless, even in his younger days.puttin a gun to someones face?thats not bubbles.

and dont it say that guy in No-Heart Anthony?

  • theres three guys here if u didnt notice omar, anthony and an unnamed third, who i think is possibly bubs

  • right, but id still say no.

i thought dukie was presentation of how bubs was years ago.country boy, cant fight cant play the game, ends up a drughead.i thought they were very similar in many ways.

  • It'd make sense for them to make Chris and Dequan replace Omar and Bubbles

  • thats it.

  • where can you find like the whole episode of this?

  • There is no full ep, this is one of three prequel shorts from the DVD set. The other two have Prop Joe as a kid, and Bunk & McNulty's first meeting.

  • go head eric!!!

  • Awesome. Omar showed them all. cept for Kenard...

  • guess dat how da game be, yo

  • haha go Omar...

Eeven back then he had morals.

  • whoa what is this show??

  • Please, please watch The Wire if you havn't...

If you have, meh, watch it again I guess!

This one of a number of prequel scenes which never made broadcast. Five seasons of television bliss await you,

    Happy watching man. Peace!

  • seen the wire, my fav show. thanks for lookin out man!

  • only started watching it 3 weeks ago! pure bliss! changed my life!
