When i click on outer glow it doesnt say structure or noise and doesnt show the colour bar it just says "general blending" with blend mode and opacity underneath it? im using photoshop cs5 extended version 12.0, can anyone help me??

TO EVERYONE WHO CAN NOT CLICK "STROKE PATH"...

I had the same problem myself, so I retraced my steps and made sure all of my defaults were the same as the tutorial video.. I noticed that my option for pen tool was set to  "shape layers", while the video's was set to "Paths"... I redid the lines I made with the pen tool with the "Paths" option checked, and voila... I can now click "Stroke Path" when I reached that step... All you need is diligence, and some trial and error... great vid...

@xCaPtAncRuNcHx i struggled with the same thing for about 2 months, yeah rly...but all you have to do is select the brush tool, go to window, brushes, shape dynamics, set the control to pen pressure, and adjust the size jitter...mine is at 0 but wtvr...message me if u need more help

You need to use the pen tool, draw a line as shown and when you get to the box, make sure you click 'simulate pressure. That should solve your problem. Like this so people can see it

@inuyasha769458 You need to have a clean basic round brush selected before you stroke a path. It sounds like you're stroking a path with the brush tool that has been loaded with one of your own set of grunge brushes.
