How is the pz spitfire a few hobby shops told me that it was junk so I got the p51 . I would like to get a smoth flying spit since it's the best warbird
@jkachur777 the parkzone spitfire compared to the parkzone mustang bl, I love the spitfire (as im British) but the parkzone mustang BL is a much better investment for the long term ( lipo batteries, brushless motor) Parkzone made a great job on the mustang shame they cant make the spitfire as powerful and update :) at present the parkzone mustang is my favourite plane to fly :) good luck
for the spitfire, i have it and it flys like a dream! but what really gets annoying is that i have to cycle the batteries for it EVERY time i want to fly it. do you have this problem with it also?
@MrRockoutLoud i switched to LiPo batteries, and removed the J3 jumper from the receiver (see manual for Lithium Polymer batteries). Ahm Lovin' it. No more weak batteries. LiPo is the way to go, to eradicate that problem. Good luck and thanks for watching :)
@MrRockoutLoud You can find a Parkzone Lipo , direct fit for the Spitfire with the same connectors. Check with your Local Hobby Store, or at Parkzone's website to see what it looks like. Its "3 cell 2100 mah" and won't hurt the plane. It will help it fly more stable from start to finish. Don't forget to check your manual for which jumper to pull out of your receiver. good luck
hi, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me
I've been flying for around 4 years, I started out with the ParkFlyRC T-Hawk, and later got a PZ J3 Cub (an older version, albeit) I got a Super Cub from my dad for christmas just now, I still have my own money, and would like to get a wardbird such as the PZ's P-51, judging from what I've told you, would getting somerhing such as the P-51 be suitable for me?
depending on which model you fly depends on the landing procedure
but the decent is the same
gradualy bring it down in short circuts and on the last pass bring it round and on the aproach you should be around 60-100ft gradualy let off the throttle but tont quit untill just before touchdown, it helps to give a little up elevator just before you touchdown as this will soften the landing and prevent prop damage
landing on wheels you need to keep power on untill touchdown but the same as before
i have flew the supercub like 12 times now, and its goin well i can land without any problem. U think i can fly the Spitfire now?? Is it hard to manover, fly and land??
i would practice with your cub a lot more. any plane with a low profile wing is much more difficult to fly. you need to keep a lot more airspeed than the supercub. i would invest in a T-28 before a warbird.
i agree, i am getting the corsare for my second plane i have flown some others though and my dad just snaped my modified wing and fusalage on my supercub:( so he ows me
look everyone who asked about the prop breaking while landing...the props do have some flex to them and if you shut the motor off before the plane touches down its very rare to break a prop. most people who fly from grass perfer to belly land and its easyer than landing with wheels
Hi ther i ahve the super cub and aero bird challenger and i ahve looked at the controll for the park zone spitfire, p51 and Focke Wulf and cant see how you use the alerons with one stick????????? + i dont know what to buy between the P51 and Focke Wulf. Thanks very much Redflyier. Any info would be BRILLIANT.
They work differently than the Super Cub. These ailerons are on the wing and are controlled by side to side stick. The plane will go straight like an arrow, and it's wings will roll. This is different from your Super Cub which turns by rudder and is more of a flatter level turn. To turn the plane with ailerons, you give right or left stick then pull back on the stick to bring the plane around again.
Nice! I just got some tips on how to land my supercub! ussually i would just cut the throttle on the ground! but i see if you keep some throttle when u tought the ground it wont tip over! sweet!
All landings on here are in fact of my father in law, who has flown for over 25 years as a gas powered rc plane enthusiast. So I couldn't take credit away from a great man and a great flyer. I just filmed this one. Thanks for these great comments! I'll pass it on to him. :)

I got the super cub!
funny story: i was flying it o a windy winter, it was about 40cm of snow.
i had a nice takeoff and after about one minute flying, a strong wind cast pushed my cub to stall and it went straight down in the snow.
standing with the prop drilled in the snow and tail straight in the air.

The Hobbyzone Super Cub is a great 3 channel trainer. It was my first plane and I still fly it. The float kit adds even more fun and challenge!!

ahs201193, I went to reply and hit the "remove" button on accident. sorry!
1st time plane : get the Super cub. You'll get more flights out of it. It's the easiest to land and fly too. So it's relaxing and enjoyable. Good luck

You are really good at landing! I wish I could do that as well.
romeosierracharlie 2 years ago
and I love how you land the ones with no wheels perfect, then the cub comes along and it bounces and eats dirt xD Classic.
RC606 3 years ago
well its obvious enough, with small wheels on grass it can flip over on landing,, without wheels its hardly likely to do that.
robbie77300 2 years ago
My question is, why dont they put some damn wheels on these things??!!
RC606 3 years ago
no wheels because gives it a scale flying look and in some areas wheels are not really much use, long grass atc and they are easilly hand launched
robbie77300 2 years ago

how do u prevent the propeller from breaking off???
FKAguy 3 years ago
you shut off the engine about 20 ft from landing sop and just pull the nose up and your good:)
rostibluh 3 years ago
turn off the engine. when, or if the prop hits the ground, it turns so its horizontal.
coocooachoo568 3 years ago
Deine Mutter is eine Hure.
Devilssend 3 years ago
You turn the engine off before landing and glide it in. They are tricky to land the first few times out
Parkzone133 3 years ago
how u turn engine off?
koroglu12 3 years ago
just take the throttle off :) simple... i trying to get me a mustang so i can get flying my (relatives) spitfire

Which one is the best to fly the spitfire, p51d or the fk 190 thanks just so i no which one to buy.
mylesbest 3 years ago
not easy for a 1st plane. you will crash it more easily just starting out because it can be disorienting when the plane rolls.
33104282 3 years ago
are the fw 190 easy to fly as it is my first model plane i havnt flown it yet as i dont whant to damage it as i am taking lessons

how do you stop the prop digging in with no gear?
jamesaddison81 3 years ago
It is free spinning and usally just ends up sideways on touchdown. I did break one on a gopher mound once. It looked spectacular.

is this plane fast?
makaveliasim 3 years ago
Warbirds are kinda fast but the super cub isn't. These are made for the large open park so they aren't Redbull racers.
33104282 3 years ago
hey if you need help landing the cub, you need a much greater flare. and landings look cooler and smoother on dirt or another hard surface
