I just noticed that this car has the outboard mirrors that Ferrari introduced in 2006...

They banned them because the drivers couldn't see out of them.

GP2 doesn't have them. Clearly Schumi prefers them to conventional mirrors.

The reasons that new drivers struggle nowadays in f1 is obvious considering the gp2 cars are still designed like the pre 2009 f1 cars, far more aero grip and not half the amount of work to do on the steering wheel!

I love current Formula One engines, however the GP2 engine in this car sounds WAAAAAAAAAY better!!! It reminds me almost exactly of the 1994 V12 engine sounds from the Ferrari formula car! If you haven't heard that, look it up on youtube and turn up your speakers! It's like 4 minutes of complete heaven, just like the sound of this GP2 car here. :)

he hasn't had enough uberschnitzels, he's clearly lacking performance this season. And his manouever on barrichello just goes to show he hasn't lost any of that german bullyboy mentality. We're slowly but surely witnessing one of motor racing's greats lose much of his legendary status. Statistically he may be the best, but with a much more level playing field the tables have turned considerably. Alonso is the new schumacher. And funnily enough, he's a complete prick as well.

GP2 has 4 Liter engine F1 only 2.4 ! - one fact for better sound .

Second is that GP2 engine-speed is much lower and so the GP2 sound much better.

F1 are more "screaming" because Vibrations are on higher lvl.

Hamilton was a GP2 driver in 2006.

Schumacher announced his retirement in September 2006.

Hamilton was only considered for an F1 drive in October 2007.

All in all shouldnt only concentrate in the fight of Schumacher and Alonso. Its 8 drivers who have the chance to get F1 champion this season. Button, Hamilton, Schumacher, Rosberg, Vettel, Webber, Alonso and Massa!!!!!! My favourite of course is Schumacher as im from Germany. @tjbayliss don't get me wrong.. schumacer is a great driver but half of the reason why he's so good is because of the technology builted on his ferrari f1 car.. the race on rain for example.. his f1 car is designed so that it doesnt overrev on the rain so all the traction is still there.. look at him now with his benz.. benz doesnt have the technology to even compete with the f1 of ferrari.. its just down to how much does the new/other ferrari f1 driver mastered the ferrari and schumacer
