Mine does dry fast, it is long (in the middle of my back), I have bangs and the thing that really saves me with my hair is summer. I get tanned because I lifeguard and then my hair gets lighter and it looks real good. So, my advise to you is to get a little sun, keep the length and try using a leave in conditioner to calm it down. Fructis makes a really good one. !

I leave the conditioner in my hair too. I have very very very naturally curly hair therefore is it very very very naturally dry and frizzy. I take a shower, leave the conditioner in, get out and use a microfiber towel (normal towels make it frizzier) and load all kinds of John Frieda anti-frizz products in my hair. Then I scrunch it with mousse and let it air dry. My hair is also very thick so drying it with a diffuser takes forever.

my process starts in the shower. i leave about half the conditioner in my hair, and a lot of water, and then scrunch it out once the water's off. then i scrunch/dry it with a TSHIRT, not a towel (for the microfibers), add mousse, tshirt it again, and then diffuse it.

you don't know, maybe i don't even know, but at least my hair is always fabulous.
