Yes, I dislike it when people assume marijuana smokers are lazy people because many of us are very active. For example, I rock climb four days a week, I go to college, I draw and paint and I work as a spiritual messenger/healer/teacher. I also agree that marijuana opens people up, especially our creativity.

There are issues that the user never sees because of the nature of subjective experience. My main concern is that someone who's "high" more easily forms "erroneous" opinions.
Still, that less rigorous perspective is temporary for most people, and I can see value in opening the mind to possibilities that might not otherwise be considered.
Now, not everyone "ends up there" and I don't believe there should be social controls for substances, not legal ones, but I understand why the legal controls exist.

I had a conversation with something once when I was high, I thought it was god at the time, looking back I think it must have been a multidimensional being of some sort.
All I remember is feeling really warm and protected and like it loved me, it kept answering my questions with visuals, I asked why humans exist and saw my hands become 3 fingered and longer as if evolving.
I asked what my purpose was and watched a glass on my desktop overflow with liquid.
