so i have a question is there a difference between fallen angels and demons(unclean spirits)? im just wondering since it seems unclean spirits need a place of residence or they wander around without bodies and fallen angels, whom many of us refer to as demons, can materialize with bodies with no problem...im just a little confused...maybe it doesnt even matter anyways. God bless..lol @ the many poop piles comment btw
@dopplerking91 Great question. I can't say for sure one way or the other but it seems that "familiar spirits", "unclean spirits" and "fallen angels" are all different entities. As you say a fallen angel is simply an angel who has followed their leader Satan. We see "familiar spirits" always spoken of in regard to sorceries, enchantments and other Occult activities whereas we see the term "unclean spirits" used regarding possession.
So, since the "house" of an unclean spirit is a man/person then what is keeping them from infesting ALL people then?
Apparently only being filled with the HOLY Spirit keeps out UNCLEAN spirits then and being sealed. So this begs thew question, *are all unsaved people infested with unclean spirits before they get saved?* What do you think?
@vudumojo In my research I have found that unclean spirits seem to need an invitation in order to oppress or possess an individual. The invitation can take on many forms and does not have to be "formal" but rather can be result from occult practices. Some examples being the Ouija board, channeling, tarot cards and on and on.
@SEK4110 I've always heard that TOO but it's nowhere in the Bible though, *that an invitation is required* for unclean spirits to enter in. Think about it, have you ever reada that in the Bible? Me neither. Wonder why so many people say that then? hmmn... So I wonder what the truth is. After all Satan is the god of this world through his unclean spirits controlling world leaders like puppets.
If only UFO/alien researchers and those deep into "supernatural" phenomena such as investigating so-called "poltergeists" would see that the unclean spirits love to deceive, (as in pretend they are dead loved ones or extra terrestrials)... and also they *need* us because they don't have a "shell" as it were.
I can personally testify that the name of Jesus Christ spoken with authority is a powerful thing when dealing with such spirits.
"24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first."
@vudumojo It is very intriguing, the latter half. The parallel verses in Matt.12:43-45 makes it more interesting to me, as Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees about the Sign of Jonah. At the end, He says, "...Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.".(v.45).
I mean He's using it to tell something to the Pharisees, but does it mean that we are open to attacks from 7(or more) unclean spirits? I think perhaps it's more along the lines of that is how vigilant we have to be...
@reapwhatyousow ...and it's crazy how the possessed man in Mark 5:1-20 had *two thousand* unclean spirits in him! I mean that is just mind blowing.
Does anyone else see the parallel in this and the doctrine of "once saved always saved"? I mean just because I repented and believed does not mean I'm out of the game, or the battlefield as it were, I mean sealed and filled with the Holy Spirit, but we can backslide though. Interesting topic to think about dude, for sure.
@vudumojo BTW i'm not implying that you are saying anything remotely similar to "once saved always saved" or anything like that. now that i read my previous comment, I realize it sounds weird. I mean salvation is a whole different topic of course, and the demonic possession thing is surrounded by all kinds of man made doctrines and stuff from the exorcist movies or something.
Just glad you are bringing it up, because it's interesting, as you said the N.WO 'voluntary' puppets.
We must believe in jesus christ.read the bible understand it and learn like jesus.and cast out demons with god's powerfull word.

Demons find it easier it seems to live in people that have a weak mind or allow themselves to be what I call open to suggestions.

The second half is even more interesting...
Luke 11:
"24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.
