you are not very bright,,and as to the audience, this is a very intimate tv production with maybe 40 people at the tables. you just heard of kenny?..and you think he justsounds ok?..you must be around 20 years , and obviously dont know much about singing.

Vince... How do you know how bright or otherwise I am? I live in a free country. I am entitled to express an opinion. As to Rankin's singing? I didn't insult his singing. I just wasn't particularly impressed. I don't sing, but as a young man I couldand did. Someone else said he was an ***hole. I just researched the guy. What I found tells me, Rankin thinks he is great. Do I HAVE to believe him? My advice Vince? READ ALL the comments. Oh... I shall be 69 in February next year.

The audience didn't seem all that over-enthusiastic. Polite applause was how I'd rate it. But the guitar solo was something else! Never heard Rankin before. He has a wide range to his voice, but as an a**hole, I dunno! never met the guy.

I've always been a fan of him and he is an amazing player and singer. When i first heard his most well known tune "Haven't We Met", i was instantly hooked and it made me want to play guitar. And that was the first tune i learned heheh. He's a good guy.

this is really unique. . round midnight is usually placed jazz, but kenny made it the bossa way. .. very effective. . . and i can better keep track of the chord progression. .. nice job kenny . .

Nope. This one's on e minor, a guitar friendly key, but the original's in e flat minor. Just looked in my Real Book. As a vocalist, you gotta change keys to accommodate your range. BUT, as a vocalist/guitarist, ya gotta make it as easy as possible on the old git.
