  • That was amazingly awesome!!

  • Jealous. Oh so very jealous, of you and your insanely amazing array of instruments...

Darn you student-dom and lack of money D:

  • it really was! (gorgeous that is)

  • Followin' dizzi around youtube . . . enjoyin' every minute.

  • Gorgeous indeed.

  • Does anybody know where can I get a hammered dulcimer like the one she's playing in the video?

  • @rghoyos Maybe visit her website and ask :)

  • That is really lovely!

  • just wonderful!

  • wow

  • Extraodinário!!!!!!!!!Parabéns...

  • Wow Dizzid11 you and your friend are amazing together i agree with ClintGreggor i dint want it to end i could listen to you two play all day long. thank you for sharing this with us. i treully loved it. two of my fav instruments played together. its beautiful. thank you very much.

  • Ear candy, a feast of lovely.

  • big smile !!

  • Really enjoyed it. Beautiful.

  • This is absolutely delightful, if I were present at the jam I would have been taken to another dimesntion and back ^_^

  • If you two made a CD, I'd buy it. I'd probably fork over a full 25 bucks for it. Wouldn't want to price it that high, cuz I doubt many other people would, but at 10 bucks a disc you could make a killing. Bed Bath, & Beyond would sell this like hotcakes.

  • the amount of drugs ingested in that room before this video was astronomical

  • Perfect

  • Beautiful... :3

  • This is amazing, i could listen to this all day going about my business, doesn't loop very well though. Still love it

  • Namaste!

FANTASTIC ... and a PERFECT combination!

    LIVE LONG and PROSPER!!!

  • Outstanding! Put out a record.

  • Sounds very nice. Relaxing...

  • Careful with your instrument on the ground, some one might step on it. -nice playing

  • very nice

  • Beautiful ! These two instruments go together well

  • Awsome jam!!

  • Where can I buy a dulcimer like that?

  • Beautiful sounds. collaboration is always brilliant

p.s. i think im in love with you Dizzi

  • Wow..........

  • Magical combo, Magical tune, What do you call it Dizzi ?

  • A surprising, yet wonderful combination! I enjoyed this jam very much. ^^

  • I thought it was called a Caisa drum?

  • @FoxBatinaHat Due to the fact that the guys in Switzerland are too lazy to market this or sell the plans so that others can make them to satisfy demand, this inexpensive instrument (although AMAZING) is overpriced and cloned under the following names: Halo, Bells, Pan, Spacedrum, Caisa, and of course the PANArt Hang itself. No reason an instrument as awesome as this should have wait lists of 6000+ to buy one. Ridic...

  • @think41c ever thought about the makers not wanting it to surface as a mainstream instrument and get produced cheaply and mass produced into a would that would consider it an outcast rather that a sacred instrument ridic im sure

  • @chaz9123 I think you may be the first person that considers it a bad thing to have musical instruments available to all. Lets remove all music instruments from schools too, that way when I play the piano, it'll feel more sacred to me? Elitism, when it comes to music, isn't sacred. I totally see your point though...I simply think the benefits of music for masses outweighs "being sacred". Enjoy the vids!

  • @think41c there's nothing wrong with having musical instruments available to people obviously but with an instrument such as this with its unique timbre and sound deserves all the credit it has as a "sacred" instrument

  • Omg, my two favorite instruments in one video, nice!

  • The hang drum player's a bit dull, you can almost only hear the bass, she never plays the other notes... But apart from that the combination of both instruments is amazing, I would like to hear more!

  • really nice combination...regards from zurich,Switzerland :)

  • Thanks Dizzi and co., your music is actually perfect for studying...

  • Thanks, that was lovely.

  • When you die, the place you go to has music like this. :-)

  • A world filled with "silly hippies" would be a much better place, especially if they could all make such cool sounds ;¬)

  • hang drums are rad

  • silly hippies

  • First time playing together? Very, very enjoyable.

  • this is beautiful. i take it you've listened to Portico Quartet? I think you'd like them!

  • Utterly ethereal and uplifting!! Please post more!!!

  • That was a beautiful song. There were times when the hang seemed to override the dulcimer a bit but, other than that, very well done.

  • This is like the most beautiful thing I've ever heard, please put out an album:]

  • This was the first time you played together?! Color me impressed! Lovely video :D

  • Anyone who feels they have to post some lame comments about the Hang Player's ability, please by all means, post something better otherwise just stfu... Let the music roll. Ive watched and listened to this video well over 150 times and its just brilliant.

    BIG UP GIRLS

  • hang drum player needs more parctice, can still hear the rubbing, which isn't good. Nice idea though.

  • I agree - Hang drum needs a bit of practice - but still a great performance all around

  • very good !

  • how wonderful is the hang drum and the hamm. dulcimer together!!5*

  • Sounds like an Harp :D LOVELY?!!! great job hon's :P

  • ♥♫

  • this is so wonderful~ ^^

  • it sounds a bit like a bronze harp to me.

  • sounds quite a bit like a mandolin

  • i love jamming. the fact that you don't have to worry about doing anything "right" means that you can focus more on making music.

  • Your best song yet Dizzi...! Keep it up...you guys have great potential...! I'm definitely a fan!

  • i find myself zoning out

  • wonderfull music,,,never heared but i love it, very relaxing.

What is the source of it???can you tellme more about this music?

    Cornelia

  • I finally realized one of the things that makes the hang drum sound cool/foreign/different to me - there is no leading tone, instead there's a lowered 7th scale degree tone in what otherwise seems like major tonality.

I really enjoy this music, it's beautiful =)

  • so youre saying its mixolydian? thats what i'm gathering anyways.

  • 255jef2

You have a wonderful hammered and beautiful musik

  • what a find n my day off, lol. This is wonderful and inspiring music to listen to when doing art. It would be cool to hear some overtone chanting with it too :-)

  • wow... :)

  • Really thought this was awesome... great jam indeed!! Really made me grin

  • how sweet!

  • very nice! I listened while balancing my checkbook....it kept me calm ;)

  • Join a band with me and I'll hug you.

  • You're right. That was gorgeous!

  • the hang pan sounds exactly like Balinese instrument. I think i will buy one in the notes of dang , ding dung deng dong-5 notes.

  • aren't hang drums extremely hard and rare to get?

  • yeah the waiting list is at least a year long you have to write a letter to the makers and they will invite you on a trip to switzerland to visit them and pick out your drum they are also very expensive ranging from like 1-5 thousand dollars i think

  • yes. first youre put on a waiting list which is about 1-2 years long. then you have to fly to bern, switzerland to specify the weight and tonal range of the drum. then you wait for another year for them to make it. they dont ship, so you have to fly back over and pick it up. their starting price is 4,000. PAN art is making their own hang drum, called the HALO. it is roughly 2,000 and they will ship w/in the continental us. they have a huge waiting list tho.

  • This video almost makes me want to cry, i dont understand hows there is not whole bands dedicated simply to this style of music.

No doubt there is someone out there whole will take up these instruments and use it to promote hate campaigns, while it should be used to descibe the beauty of life and of the world.

  • What the fuck?

  • theres another sound giving off a pedestrian beat why is that not mentioned.?

  • is there?

  • Of course there is are you deaf as this video starts you can clearly hear the instrument im on about the girl has not even started to play the dulcimer check it out from 0 to 11 seconds in it continues right through the peice

  • what are you on about? im definately not deaf!!!! i can hear the hang being played, which is mentioned, then the girl says "Thats beautiful.... yeah its gorgeous"???? i think your making your 'pedestrian beats' up!!! haha. but seriously... theres a hang and a dulcimer... and of course two people playing them? bad recording quality maybe? no beats can be heard on my 7.1 on full!!!!???????

  • are u sure your not on about the high taps resonating from the hang? as for 'check it out from 0-11 seconds'..... there is no sound until 7 seconds in?, and even then the hang is already being played? sure your not hearing things?

  • You do not understand what i mean when i say pedestrian beat do you.!i don't mean an actual beat i mean a melody or a tune that gives the song a course to follow but after inspecting this i may be wrong and what im hearing is in fact the hang drum if this is the case my sincere apoligies

  • i know what a 'pedestrian beat' is!! i also know what a hang drum sounds like!!!! think, or 'listen' before calling people deaf, its rude.

  • This is beautiful music that sits comfortably with the likes of Tuu and Dead Can Dance.

  • Beautifull, I see a lot of talent. Specially of the Dulcimer (salterio) player. Congratulations

  • Great combination! Hope to see more! 5 stars!

  • hang drum is like playing the underside of a steel pan.

  • Those two instruments go together really well, keep it up - you rock!!! =]

  • I love this. You're a very talented lady.

  • beautiful *_* <3 5/5

  • This is totally beautiful.

  • wow....

  • Check RHYTHMTANDEM.

  • Wonderful , Wonderful , Wonderful

    I LOVE HUNG DRUM

  • where dio you have buy the dulciner ?

  • Hammer dulcimers are somewhat rare. I got mine on Ebay for just under a couple hundred dollars, but that was quite a find - expect to pay at least $500 for a playable one. Look around on craigslist and ebay, I doubt you'd find one at your average Guitar Center or Big Apple Music.

  • There are dozens of Hammered dulcimer makers in the USA. selling a range of instruments from a few hundred dollars up to a few thousand dollars each. They are easy to find online.

  • Tell that girl playing the Hang drum to take her rings off!

  • please put an cd together so i can buy it. :)

  • this is beautiful.

  • I want your album please.

  • She is not a hippie. She is a proessional musician and businesswoman.

  • Maybe she is a hippie. There's nothing wrong with that =]

  • nice song but you look like a hippie :P

  • Wonderful

  • Beautiful & inspiring. Excellent.

    Malcolm

  • You to are great, keep playing

  • Not bad girls, Sounds great, keep practicing! It would sound great with some didge aswell!

  • Sounds nice! Thx for sharing!

  • Sounded nice but for some reason I got the feeling that someone should've been running around waving crystals and incense. Or at least have someone with a palm fan providing a cool breeze to some king or queen.

  • was weed involved??

  • What a beautifull playback !

Can you give me the author name ?

  • I want to give you both a huge hug :) love it

  • This music made me want to cry for some reason!

    Music to meditate to!

  • Listening to this, I just had to get out my penny whistle and jam along! I'm SO glad you're playing in D! :-)

The airy sound of the penny whistle really blends in nicely.

  • I would so buy this tune, it's relaxing but not enough to make you go to sleep. Inspiring, it helped me paint and work on my other crafts. I love this so much. thank you. I wish youtube hade a repeat button.

  • awesome tune...

  • waa- 63 year young surfer, just lost 48 thousand this week in the markets, sitting on the Lewes beach with my board & my "Hank" drum

at sunset with this tune in my 'CHI" ciculating. Rice & beans, mug of Merlot, who cares go vote you betcha

  • very nice

  • I love coming back to this video... Its very relaxing... I gotta get one of those drums somehow...

  • super duper relaxing, beautiful, and fun.

its sunny outside for once and I plugged my laptop into my speakers and used this vid to drown out the the sound of the neighbor's mower a few gardens away.

The faint mower sound in the background actually compliments the music believe it or not. Subharmonics i suppose.

window open, cool breeze and a cuppa tea.

    perfect.

  • That made my ears happy.

  • Two fantastic instruments. Really meeting for the first time? Glad I found this.

  • wonderfully easily

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK!!! I love this!

  • Dear Dizzi: I have a crush on you and your pentatonics.
