So glad that Jonny is back in DGD. Kurt was an good singer compared to a lot of others but Jonny just tears this up, Kurt is trying really hard to perform this song that Jonny did effortlessly and much much better, Kurt can barely hold the notes. Especially from 2:37 - 3:20, Jonny does that so much better.

i agree happiness is their worst record COMPARITIVELY, its good, but not as good as whatever i say..,deathstar(dgd), or downtown battle. i do like it, but i was kinda disappointed a little bit. but nevertheless, dance gavin dance is still one of the best bands to hit the music scene.

Happiness is their worst record. It's not because of the lineup changes. It only has 6 songs that even sound like them. Don't get me wrong, I dig the Strawberry Swishers (Didn't at first, but I love them now. Takes a few good listens), but the album doesn't compare to their other stuff. It's not that it's BAD. It just isn't the best. So that makes it the worst. Even though that makes it sound negative. It's a great release, but like, 10 songs? Really? That's what the let down for me was.

kurt is so much better for dgd, jonny craig fits better with emarosa, so i think the switch was wize, and the new dgd happiness is their best record yet!

they most definitely did lose something with the departure of Jonny. but they definitely gained something with Kurt. I've been listening to a bunch of new videos today and I really like the newer DGD. Kurt's a great vocalist, and I'm excited to hear new stuff, even though Jonny made up a big part of what I love about this band.
