  • could be the greatest thing i've ever seen.

  • Holy shit, what a frontman! Heavy Metal all the way, Widowmaker yeah!

  • This used to be a House music dance club. It got real bad, lots of fights, drugs, I thought I had heard a gun fight etc.

Stopped going there in the early, early 1990s. Is it still around?

  • Great track, good perfromance clip, too. Thanks for posting...Cheers!

  • hear play pappo from argentina in 1980,,

  • What???

This widowmaker band isn´t the pappo and the widowmakers band!!!

  • When 'Blood & Bullets' came out I thought, "fuck, Dee has finally assembled a band that's worthy of his talents instead of playing with those TS dorks!"

Too bad the timing was all wrong and Grunge choked the life out of anything metal as far as getting exposure and sales in the U.S..

I'd love to see Dee do a few reunion shows with Widowmaker; too bad it'll never happen.

  • This fuckin' KICKS ASS! I got to see both of the tours and they just kick ass live. Someone earlier mentioned Skid Row... when I heard Sebastian Bach's "Angel Down" cd, I thought, "Now that's the 2 bands I wanna see out on tour together. Sebastian Bach and a reunited Widowmaker with all 4 original members".

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Ditto record1207, This band def had better musicians than Twisted Sister (I loved TS btw, not trying to take a shot at them) The music was better than alot of TS but song content couldn't stand up to the early Twisted years.

  • I saw this tour, it was cool

  • This video clip kicks total ass!!!!!!

  • I always thought this band Dee put together was really tight and had some better songs and sound than most of Twisted Sister's stuff! Sure did'nt last long though.

  • I agree.

I've read comments where people say Stephen Pearcy's post-Ratt band, Arcade, released material that was better than half of their discography but, in light of Twisted Sister's career, I'd say that really applies moreso to Widowmaker.

In fact, I'd go so far to say that had Widowmaker been formed in 1989 and released their debut album by 1990, they could have achieved the distinction Skid Row had with their album Slave to the Grind.

Dee could have had a better career in the '90s.

  • i LOVED Arcade and Widowmaker - always wished each blossomed into more.

    ...god, grudge was so evil.

  • Forgot about this album! Is there any other songs posted off of Blood and Bullets? Saw these guys in Cleveland back in the day. Loved the band(before Petrelli left for the Trans Siberian Orchestra thing, and Joe Franco was awesome on this album)

  • this is awesome! Joe Franco rules, check out him with Good Rats

  • Esta es la banda con la que estuvo tocando pappo ???? e hizo una gira por argetina con hermetica???????

  • NO!!! Esta banda es la que formo Dee Snider luego de Twisted Sister (y Desperado). La banda de Pappo en EEUU se llamaba Widowmakers y en la gira en argentina se llamo Pappo y Widowmakers.

  • i had a band in topeka kansas called widowmaker.told alice coopers guitar player our band name at a guitar clinic he was holdig.the next thing i heard his new band was none other than wm no bullshit true story.

  • that's not where the name came from however... Dee had heard of the original 70's Widowmaker because the bass players father worked for them.

  • believe what you want kiddo!

  • I do believe it, because I'm married to the bass player. I'm not calling you a liar, I asked my husband and he seems to remember Al knowing of a band called Widowmaker, but the true story is that Dee borrowed the name from the original 70's Widowmaker. Dee even called former Widowmaker bass player Bob Daisley to ask his permission. You'll see Bob thanked in Marc's thank you's on the "Blood & Bullets" album... again, not calling you a liar, just wanted you to know the truth.

  • well you have to admit its one hell of a coincidence. ive already spent way to much time on this subject.i just wanted to tell a interesting thing that happend to me. didnt know i would have to defend it against the rock and roll police.LOL. fact is ive always thought that dee has one of the best voices in metal.and would like to hear more from him.

  • I saw a band called Widowmaker in 1977. they were an offshoot of Mott the Hoople and featured the guitarist Ariel Bender

  • I've heard about this Luther Grosvenor (aka Ariel Bender) band, but I never found their songs

  • Whats Marc Russell doing now? Hope you don't think I'm prying, but I do recall seeing that Kelly Osbourne had a Bassist called Marc Russell and I was wondering if it was your Marc. Would that be correct or way off the mark?

  • great band, great sound, great cd-s, great musicians, anything else?

  • dude, you need to get a clue? 80's sounding? get a life..the bands tight from vocals to patrellis guitars to the drums..tight..its a lil slow compared to the cd..the whole cd is incredible

  • Your thinking of his first band after Twisted called Desperado, which had the original Drummer for Iron Maiden Clive Burr on it.

  • Yes this is the origanal lineup.Joe Franco on the Drums, from the Good Rats

  • was this the original lineup ? i thought nicko mcbain from maiden was on drums while maiden was "split up"

  • Nice crop top, what a douche. Music sounds ok... but really 80's. Pitrelli is wasting his talents in this band. Oh, the drummer sounds out of time too. Just my opinion on it anyway.

  • This is from 1993 & at the time was KILLER...

    Al is great player

  • probably one of the few rockers who could back up his words. lol

  • Dee's a genius.

  • You got more of this show Widowmaker's albums rock I remember when the album "Blood N Bullets" went on the shelf I was there I missed work to go buy the album and rock out to it that day."Emaheevul Emaheevul Emamamamahevul!!!"

  • I got to see it live @ Foundation's Forum "94" W/ Bruce Dickenson & RAVEN. Great show!!!

  • great story and a great excuse to miss work!

Dee Snider is the fucking MAN!!

  • I got to see them in 1992. Great show. I got to meet Dee. Probably the coolest famous person I've ever met.

Now he's back with Twisted Sister, they rock even more.

  • Dee totally rules! Hes the only man who should sing this song at all. His voice is great for it! so cool...the song is good only itself!!!

  • Lot of talent in this band, but they got no air play at all.Joey franco the Good Rats great drummer

  • dee rocks!

  • he looks like an incredible hulk version of robert plant

  • ha ha ,, he really does

  • Dee looks like Sammy Hagar on steroids

  • Cool. I like that. Sammy and Dee. Awesome!!!

  • LMAO. Thats some crotch grabbin', tapered leg jean , meisterbrau drinkin' fun
