your retarded, the race is not even whatsoever. honda is a power to weight ratio car. it weighs nothing and has a lot of power in the motor. The talon that weighs a lot has power but about the same if not less power then the h22. Its not an even race of somehting has more power and weighs less then the other driver weather it has a turbo or not.

Good race, both cars are awesome. I really wish it was easy to hook an H22 up to an AWD drivetrain. Like do an AWD conversion to a Civic. FWD feels weird to me, especially from a launch.

This is an unfair race, think about the money sunk into both cars. It's like racing an STi vs. a BMW M3. "The STi lost, its slow!" ... sink 20g's into the STi so both cars equal out to 55k, and which car is faster now? That's the point of tuning buckets like these. To go faster for less. Besides, I believe Shepherd owns the fastest street-class 4-banger time on the 1/4. In what? It wasn't a Honda. (Correct me if I'm wrong on any of the information posted above, just going out of memory.)

Yes this was a power to weight race for sure. The Eclipse weighs about 3100lbs and the Civic weighs inb at a "hefty" 2150lbs. And they have about the same HP the H22a comes in with 205hp stock with bolt-ons maybe 215hp and the Talon comes with 210hp stock. Also the dricetrains at this power range does nothing but hurt the GSX, it eats HP the H22a probably gets more WHP than the Talon does. a GST at this power range would be a much closer race. its 2700lbs and has 210hp stock.

The H22 is not really that cheap of a swap. Look @ my name; guess what I used to drive. Now I drive a 1gb. My 5thgen was clean pretty, handled great, reliable. Not comparable to a DSM. Hondas=expensive to get into solid 13's. You can talk about new one's but who, I pulled one of those new si coupes with 13 psi. I'll be in the 13's once I get an exhaust, manifold, and o2 hosing. You can't compare them speed wise, you can't tune one buck for buck next to a DSM.
