 San Francisco "Wave Organ" is funny and nothing like Sea organ in zadar,which have great sound (like organs)

The one in San Fran does not work aparantly.

It works.  It's best a high tide.

@rogerstan It works, but it doesn't produce musical notes - humming, plonking sounds, like dropping a wrench into a 20 gallon drum full of water.

The San Francisco "Wave Organ" is getting a complete renovation which includes a clearing of its pipes, a paved pathway leading to the site, a ramp for better access for disabled people and new native plant restoration around the site. It's already looking great! There is a formal show on Saturday February 13, 2010. Check with the Exploratorium for more info. And stay tuned to my web site for an audio documentary.
