Does anybody else use just down picks when playing this? I've tried a few ways of picking (up, alternate) but down picks allows me to do it best.. What about everyone else?

Trying (still) to learn this intro i bought his G Major scale dvd to understand a bit of the theory behind it all and get the dexterity in my fingers and improve my ear.

Certainly recommend it, he presents it in exactly the same way as his youtube lessons. So much great advice in over 2 hours of instruction I'd certainly recommend it to people like me who are relatively new to the guitar and want to lay a solid foundation. Cheers again Justin.

I think if he accepts monetary donations but doesn't actually charge for lessons he can avoid that particular issue. It’s when you get paid for someone else’s work that they get antsy… just a thought. Probably not worth it in the end.

um you left a part out where in the first solo if you listen to the original track he sweeps back from the 7 on the g to the 6 on both b and e and then plays the rest of the 986 on the e and so on to finish the solo. yeah i know its a small part but that brings the lick to life when you play that part and makes it sound like the chuck berry version. just letting you know.
