1/ Amy doesn't even look like a shy 14 year old girl as she's supposed to be

2/ Ian is 14 and Natalie is 11, but the actor and actress look older than that... also, they're supposed to be British

3/ Irina doesn't look like a Russian, much less a KGB spy

4/ The Holt siblings look kinda cute but in fact they need to be more "buff" and "a little uglier"

Well some of the characters are ok but the Jonah kid is white..not black. He just talks like he is black. The Holts need to be more buff and the Kabras look middle eastern...not Russian. Alistar OH is ok. Amy and her brother are ok. Irina is ok. I just think the characters need a little work. I have not finished all the books yet. I am on the last one. I guess they would be ok as a combined one movie like they did with the Guardians of G'Hoole. I thought the books were too drawn out.

The first one I understand, sure, it's a 2-hour thing. BUT, I see NO need to go and fuss up anything else. The thing movie makers seem to miss about book adaptations is WE WANT TO SEE THE BOOK AS A MOVIE. It's kind of why we want a 39 CLUES movie and not something else with the title. All I'm saying is you better not screw up, Ratner, or you will have an army of out-raged fans barreling down your door! And if you even THINK about skipping an Amy x Ian scene ...

I think- THINK- I read that they'll be combining all the books into one (don't get me started on that) for the movie. For that, I can tolerate (just barely) the changes being 1. Isabel is with Ian and Natalie from the begging, so we get a better view of her character than just half the movie ...
