I wish they would do something with Jinchuu Arc already. I mean, yeah this is going to be cool, but it's just a retelling of of the Kyoto Arc. The Jinchuu Arc was def the best part of the series. The Seisouhen didn't do the Jinchuu Arc justice.

@deepaxowns You read my mind. I have been waiting FOREVER for them to animate the Jinchuu arc. I even signed those online petitions hoping that would convince them to finally do it. And don't get me started on that poor retelling of part of the Jinchuu Arc from Seisouhen; that Enishi-Kenshin fight was inaccurate to say the least. It made it seem like they were the only ones on that damn island when Saitou, Aoshi, Sanosuke & Yahiko had their own respective fights as well.

I agree with you about the art style.. I really prefer the original "Classic" look of the old one. glad to have reviewers like you and not trolls who just take threw flames about the anime without having watched it first.

@rona07conan My favorite rendition of Kenshin was the Trust and Betrayal one, don't get me wrong I liked the anime ver. as it's more lighthearted but for me, the serious one was the best

Yeah I check out the ova! The only thing that I like for the new ova is that they are going to bring back the old cast who did the characters and also bring back the score!

@ForneverWorld That is a bad idea. I would highly recommend watching episodes 1-62 in of the first anime series before moving on to anything new. The dub is good too so I'd go dubbed on this anime.

Well here's hoping that it's decent, i won't get my hopes up too high since they brought back the same team who did the rest of the anime. Who knows, maybe if this OVA sells in Japan then they can animate the rest of the manga properly and not pull that flashback BS like in the godawful Reflection OVA.

They give them that voice because of his personality. Which the same reason why Naruto, Goku, and Luffy's japanese VAs are female. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Luffy and Goku have the same VAs.

@bobsamurai Just found the channel and looked up some of the vids. Do you plan a review on Gintama? I think that series is really underrated. If you haven't watched it yet, then I recommend it to you.

Don't think it is all about fun and parody on Gintama, because this anime has really "deep" characters with really epic background stories.

@bobsamurai it looks like the guy who did the samuari x series its, which was the prequel and epilogue so its probably the center pice :3 hoped that made sense
