Thanks for posting this. I'm picking up an Audiobox 44VSL tomorrow and it has the same problem with the front panel controls. I was racking (pun not intended :0) my brains out wondering where to place it. NOW I know what to do. Thanks again!

The audiobox was never intended to sit on a desk it is designed as one of line of components in the presonus maxrack system which consists of itself the firestudio, a 4 channel headphone amp, tubepre mic preamp, an eq and a compresser as well as the max rack itself when all the hardware peripherals and one of the 2 audio interfaces come together its creates a desktop sized studio rig.

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is yes. Keep in mind you will need some kind of DAW software to be able to record your vocals and music in tracks. I'm not sure what you mean when you say can it record the music and voice at the same time on the website. An audio/midi interface allows you to record mics, instruments such as guitar or bass or even music from any source as long as you are using an adapter(TRS). As far as midi goes, you can connect midi controllers.

I am glad it worked out for you! I own the audio box as well, and do not have any problems with the knobs however... I put the little rubber feet on it though (the ones that came with the interface). cool riser though
