I get that this vid is kinda creepy,how everyone and smiling about their abortions, but come on people. This organization is really helping out people who need it. Regardless of your views on abortion, you have to realize that Planned Parenthood is WAY more about preventing pregnancies from beginning than terminating them. Which is why they offer all kinds of birth control plans and payment options. Without organizations like this, these kids would be getting dangerous back street abortions.

@hollyroddick yes, this is an accurate portrayal of how things are at a PP healthcare center. of course, this is a production and the delivery is stiff and hammy, but this is "it." you should know, abortion is 3% of PP's function. 97% of what they do are other things, including a majority of their services that are to PREVENT unplanned pregnancies.

All you people who have the hate on, you need to listen to the statistics: ONE IN THREE WOMEN WILL SEEK PREGNANCY TERMINATION. This means someone you know has had an abortion, and you're making them feel worse about a very difficult decision. Planned Parenthood offers family planning (ie how NOT to need an abortion) as well as alternatives to abortion (adoption, whether keeping the baby is an option, etc). If you don't support abortion, support PP for their role in sex ed and contraception.

I've used Planned Parenthood for all my gynecological care since I was 18. I'm now 40. I have never had an abortion because PP helped me afford and understand birth control when I had no money. They also helped me get through my first endometrial biopsy at age 35. I love PP with all my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you for what you do for women.

i had a friend who had an abortion and they where very kind and explained everything. Its not very rushed either and there is plenty of time for a woman to think and changer her mind and i liked that. we where there for almost four hours and all the waiting really helped my friend to settle that this was really what she wanted to do, she was still living at home and in the middle of a really successful semester in college. she needed to still do some growing up, she did the right thing

@Kitsune1414 I agree. I went to a Planned Parenthood clinic once. I would have gone more often but there is only one in my area and it is almost an hour away. The people there were very kind and friendly. Abortion is not some bloody murder spree. It is a safe and effective method of ending a pregnancy. There is nothing wrong with choosing to get an abortion. I am a very strong pro-choice Christian. Being Christian does not mean you have to be anti-choice or "pro-life".

Planned Parenthood saved my life and my sanity for many, many years. Even long after I became an adult, I depended on PP for my medical care when I couldn't afford health insurance. I've experienced the disgraceful "dummy" clinics set up by fundamentalist Christians that, instead of giving young people the help and guidance they need, waste their time with scare tactics and propaganda. In contrast, Planned Parenthood has always been there for me and it's never let me down,

@Kitsune1414 Exactly! I have heard all of the horror stories about abortion. I used to be a hardcore pro-life Catholic. I even believed that contraception was evil. oh how wrong I was! If pro-lifers really want to end/reduce abortion(s), they need to make sure that all people from a young age are educated about their options in preventing pregnancy and what they can do IF they do become pregnant. Accidents do happen and a lot of women simply aren't ready for a child.
