@eskimodude812 1st there is a huge story line and sonic is much older and eggman i think is more elabret. i will say i kinda like this now since i have watch more of it. but sonicx is better

@BlackKat226 Sonic X is canon within the games storyline that's a plus, all of the characters are just like they are in the games, Sonic X proves that SonAmy is canon in the games, the story is awesome, all of the characters are very cool I especially love Chris, Cosmo, and Bokkun the Dark Chao. All in all it's a very awesome anime that I love.

What is there to love about Chris? He's a selfish , annoying rich kid in the show for the soul purpose of annoying you but to each their own i suppose. Sonic X is a good show, wouldn't say it's better than SatAM but it's entertaining. And this show was made before the games had a real story, at this point it was just a blue hedgehog stopping a evil doctor... which is what the shows basically about

Plus when Sonic was leaving Chris felt that his parents would hardly ever spend time with him again like before. Chris wasn't selfish or annoying, he hardly had any friends his age since almost all of the kids his age were intimidated by his wealth. No matter how much money you have nothing can replace the joy of you're parents love and spending time with you. The way I see it, rich kids always buy things because they are trying to find something to fill the lonely void and it never fills it.

I got that , doesn't change the fact he tried to keep someone from going back to their world for his own wants and needs, not thinking of what was best for his friend. If he really wanted to be a good friend, he'd just sat their and let him go.

@BlackKat226 Not true, you're putting to much pressure on a 12 year old kid with low self esteem. Anyone would have acted the same way Chris did if they were in his posistion, you can't hate a character for doing something that anyone else in thier posistion would do.

@pkstarstorm1up I don't hate Chris, I just hate that the writers had dick to put him in the series. I know that he was put in because he is supposed to be a normal Sonic fan so that the viewers could relate but personally I think this was a mistake.

@WXKFA Sonic Team created Chris because in the Games/Sonic X continuity Tails has never been Sonic's little bro so they created Chris to be Sonic's best friend. Plus Chris is a great character who makes the show better then it would have been without him.

@pkstarstorm1up That doesn't make any sense. Tails has never been biologically Sonic's little bro and I thought they were just best of friends. In Sonic X this still applies. Hmm... yes, in episode #1 Tails states it.

Now I don't want to be a hater but mention at least one occasion where Chris shines? Oh that drowning incident doesn't count because it was his pool and thus if he had not existed the pool wouldn't have been there. Tails made the spaceship so he could have controlled it by himself.

@WXKFA Yes it does, and Chris shines on lots of occasions. He saves Sonic's life in episode 1,7, 26, 54, and varius other times in season 3.

@pkstarstorm1up #7: Teacher spy comes for a visit. #26: True, but Chris stole and GAVE the chaos emeralds for the Egghead so he actually CAUSED Sonic to get hurt. This was in episode 25 #54: Sonic passed out when Chris came from the Master Emerald... uh.. it wasn't a fatal condition maybe he carried him offscreen though. Or maybe it was episode #55, there Chris provided some gadgets for Sonic, but it was initially his fault that Sonic got caught. So uh.. I'm not very convinced yet..

I meant the one where Sonic is frozen and Chris attaches a ring to the X Tornado since Tails couldn't do it and it thaws Sonic out. Actually Knuckles was the one who handed the Chaos Emeralds over to Eggman so it's Knuckle's fault that Sonic got hurt, In episode 54 after Sonic is launched from the Sonic Driver Chris takes off in his mini ship and catches Sonic before he fell to his death. Also in episode 47 Sonic is knocked into the Ocean and Chris saves him from drowning

@BlackKat226 Don't say that about Chris. You'd be sorta like him if you had parents who were always away. How would you feel if you, above all others, were lucky enough to befriend the coolest damn thing alive? I'd get pretty attached.
