As a current die-hard Trojan, I would never repeat what our beloved President has said in this video, but it warms my heart knowing what a great man he is and how he has a good heart... even for "that other school"

@mwang213 Actually, he was being nice because UCLA and the entire California State School system is being bankrupted. USC has surpassed UCLA academically in all major categories except medicine. Now that the school has 2 hospitals and has focused a lot of attention on major medical research, it might soon surpass even a prestigious medical program as UCLA. USC is the fastest growing research institution in the US and the World, it ranks tie with Berkely University. Sample has really turned

@mwang213 the school around in those 20 years. The school also has the advantage of deep pocketed alumni. USC has 3rd number of billionaires alumni after Harvard and Stanford. So, they can raise money, where as UCLA rely much more of public funding. Of the two schools USC has a far better prospect for the future.
