I don't think people are being fair, you all aren't understanding that this isn't just a Damien Rice song, he co-wrote it with Melanie Laurent. He's helped her out with a few songs for HER new album, not the other way round! She isn't 'replacing' Lisa, as it seems most of you think. He's just experimenting with different artists and carrying on his music his own way for the time being. He most likely will release more solo music in the future but maybe for now he wants to help others with theirs

After listening a few times, to distract me from the strangeness and difference from what I am accustomed to by Damien, I've decided I quite I like it. For those who "disapprove" consider that Damien cannot write the same sound every song he makes to be a good artist. And this song is quite good I think. And like everyone else, I am glad he making music again.
