  • 300 hp & 0-100 in 6 secs ? My MX-3 with a k8-ze engine does this... not kidding look at my videos... it's about 144 hp... and the 323 is ligther and you have 300 hp...something is wrong with your car... have slicks ??

  • @metallinen1 I never did the time with a stopwatch. It was never tuned to its full potential, it stripped 3rd gear at 16 psi trying to set up the electronic boost controller, a few days later it stripped 5th gear, I finally got to the dyno run with 1st, 2nd and 4th gears and a ver crunchy gearbox. The car has been modified now, see here... bebo /ericsamb

    A MX3 arent ligth enough to do 0-100 in 6 sec, more like 8.

    My former car a 1210kg 626 with 148hp FE DOHC was speced 7,8 sec as a comparition (factory numbers)

  • somehow I deleted both your posts... This was put up over a year ago, its a bit old now. It never lost boost on the road, it held flat at 26psi

    don`t no what you have done. but it have to by much.

    gt-r engine 3"eksos,bigger fulepump,big cooler,power filter, progresiv fule presur. have ca280-300hk at engine on 1,75boost. and the power smash orginal gearbox fast.

  • 25psi boost, lots of nm.

    That power does smash the gear box fast, by the time I got to the dyno I had already blown 3rd and 5th gear. Dyno was run in 4th gear.

    Dunno what hk is. Yeah lots done to car, 800cc injectors, 3inch pipe, Link V5 ECU, full internals billet/forged all ARP bolts, porting and cams done too. Lots more since then with a much stronger gearbox, bigger turbo, bigger intercooler and better engine management and running 28PSI.

  • After mutch testing is only one girbox that is holding. is dogbox from old rally car. payd ca 9200euro and then is no worry`s. but bad top speed. my car get stolen. but the last engine i build run 337hk on wheels on 2,2bar boost.

    Btw, 4wd doesnt have 40% powerloss? Do you seriously believe everything those dyno boys tell you? Or your tranny is in really bad shape if you lose 200hp!!! on it =P

  • On heavy offroad 4x4 seen on dyno, tranny loss is been on 30% +/-, and those are littlebit rough stuff compared to Mazda's tranny, so Id say that 30% would be closer. And if the dyno youve been would know its onions, they can measure it to be sure. Just calculating the crank HP from those figures DOESNT give you accurate numbers, not even close...

  • I have a BPT Mazda GTX. The 500hp at the crank claim is BS.

  • why is the crank claim bullshit? I know there is no true way to work the fugure out. It was 298hp @ 4 wheels. FWD train loss is about 20%, RWD 25% and 4WD about 40% Whatever it is, the power smashed my strengthend BFMR gearbox on boost

  • 1800? what turbo you running? how much boost

  • its a BPD block out of a Mazda GTR, in that vid I was running a VJ23 Mazda GTR turbo on 26psi boost
