  • do they check for Iron Deficiency when they do blood work would it disqualify you if they find that

  • Comment removed

  • What exactly are they looking for or not wanting when they do the background? My recruiter knows about what I did last year and I will mention it at meps, but i know its not a DQ....Ive never done drugs so im not worried about that...is it like employment background stuff they are looking at or what is it? does anyone know?

  • FOR PEOPLE WONDERING BOUT THE WAIVERS: Pretty much if you know for a fact your gunna get dq'd, YES = DQ NO= IN. They wont check your records because there's hundreds of people going in there any given week. They don't have the time or resources to check any of your medical records. However if you go into a job where you have to have a Security clearance then they will.

  • @yungeezzy , I don't believe so, you may have to get a waver. I hope there isn't but if there is any record of an attempt of suicide then that immediately disqualifies you. Best of luck.

  • Te ves muy bonita.

    Greetings from Michigan.

  • i have a question is all that you said at the end of the video, like the job interview, if you got accepted it or not, and like the oath, is this all done while your their at meps?

  • i was treated for depression like 6 years ago does this disaqualified me from enlisting

  • @yungeezzy Dont say shit

  • what happens if you decide that you dont want to do enlist while being at meps. Can you still back out at any point before swearing in?

  • so if my recruiter is sending me to meps that means my background is fine right? i told him about my juvenile issues and he said its all taken care of. so im good right? do they ask about legal stuff?

  • @welderman9429380 No, your background has not been checked yet. Only your local police/court check. When you get to MEPS you'll meet with a background investigator/screener. After you enlist your background will be investigated at the National Security level, within two weeks you'll know if they found anything that you failed to mention. If anyone tells you to lie or cover up, don't do it.

  • @iguardcalifornia What happens if i lie? And they pull it up? ill just be disqualified or what?

  • @welderman9429380 Don't lie. Ur trying to enter military service, think about the whole holding urself 2 a higher standard thing. U'll be disqualified from entering any branch of service, plus ull waste your time, the recruiters time and MEPS time. If u have a criminal past it's likely that ull have a criminal future. I know u may be of that group who made a mistake and will forever more b on the straight & narrow but past performance is indicative future performance, plus u said "Issues" plural

  • @welderman9429380 Part 2, u said "Issues", to me means u had several crimes/tickets/arrests, means u didn't learn the first time and continued to test the law. If u have "Issues" (plural) and are contemplating lying or withholding past history then ur probably not the type of person the military is interested in. If u compromise ur integrity now u'll compromise it later. Later u might end up getting a fellow soldier killed. Do the right thing. This is the problem with people 2day, no integrity.

  • @iguardcalifornia yeah i was i like 14 along time ago. how is that i did something when i was 14 that im going to get somebody killed? there is some way dumb people in the army. my dad was telling me that some guy when he was training for infantry that he dropped the pin and threw the grenade. how is couple charges when im was 14 going to make me dangerous?

  • @welderman9429380 Like I said, u may be of that group who only made a few mistakes and will never break the law again but the military can't take that chance. There are many applicants who have no issues whatsoever. Those applicants are a better risk. Past performance is indicative of future performance and the military wants those who committed no crimes or very minor ones. Tell ur security interviewer and hope for the best. Dont lie, shows lack of character. Do the hard right over the ez wrong!

  • @welderman9429380 Dude, you are supposed to drop the pin and throw the grenade! lol The Army will let you in, don't sweat it. I've been in for 3 years now.

  • so for girls you cant shave like..."down there"?

  • D: I should've watched this vid before I went m.e.p.s. I wasn't informed of them needing to check if your actually female..ew I had old guy check...bleh oh well I passed...

  • In the summer of 2009 I fractured my fibula, I am have held and through my healing of resting and taking care of myself, I am able to run 20 minutes and 48 seconds for 2 miles. I am preparing to join the army national guard in West Virginia. I was wondering if that will lower my chances of getting into the service even though I am still able to run well. Sincerely, Madison

  • @TheShmadison It really depends on you and what you say to the Dr at MEPS. The Dr's decision to allow you to join will be based on your medical records, his exam and you. If you tell him you are fully healed and have zero problems whatsoever, you stand a better chance of enlisting. If you complain about pain and limited use, It's a sure bet you'll see a specialist and probably end up disqualified in the end. Just don't lie and say your ok if you still hurt. Care for urself, u only have 1 body.

  • @jakethesnake9901 Part 1 - This is not correct and it pisses me off when a "know it all" really doesn't. We do have access to your criminal and med records, u sign an SF86 allowing us access. How in depth we check depends on ur level of clearance. May not get caught trying 2 go 11B but what if someone who'd be an asset in the 35 series get's DQ'd because of ur comments with something that really didn't even matter? Great advice. Great way 2 demonstrate the 7 Army values! Fraudulent enlistment.

  • @jakethesnake9901 Part 2 - If u think i'm bullshitting I can show u several of my DQ'd applicants over the course of the last few years. Some kid listens 2 ur idiotic advice and ends up hurting himself because he should never have joined in the first place with a particular injury! Let's say TheShmadison listens to you and doesn't mention the fractured fibula and then ends up really screwing himself up? What then? Will it affect you? Not at all. Learn 2 set the example, not try 2 get over!

  • Is it an issue to get a waiver for controlled hypothyroidism accepted for the army?

  • hi im tryna go into the navy and i had a few questions about the MEPS process. I want to know if there is a difference in the physical process for different branches or if its the same and if so what are the requirements for a females for things like push-ups and curl-ups etc.

  • pffttt yessir and no sir to some civilians and nobodies trying to act like its the actual military. fuck that noise

  • is there any waivers for weight?

  • @kloikrules Not for weight, but call me. You may make tape instead.

  • Hey I'm interested in joining the army but have some injuries I have a dislocated shoulder which I had surgery on it's good now and then I have a dislocated knee once also didnt have surgery but seems good to me I can duck walk and run 4 miles is it possible for me to join with these two injuries. I really want to join so bad thanks

  • @4c3NiNja It shouldnt be a problem, although you'll have to go through the physical/medical screening which you'll tell the doctor about past injuries. If he clears you, you're good to go.

  • @iguardcalifornia hi im tryna go into the navy and i had a few questions about the MEPS process. I want to know if there is a difference in the physical process for different branches or if its the same and if so what are the requirements for a females for things like push-ups and curl-ups etc.

  • @cashmeremone1 The navy process is different, I don't want to give you bad info, best to ask your recruiter.

    Good Luck!

  • @iguardcalifornia whats this chicks name bro damn she is pretty ....so whats the name?

  • @iguardcalifornia How different is the Navy process....I dont see it as bad info...Im trying to get as much info as I can, even if its close to what actually happens.

  • I went to meps almost 2 yrs ago and it was actually really funny the command was awesome and the doctor that checked the females that day was a male that was kinda weird and there were only six girls and they put us all through first so i got done at meps in about 3-4 hrs!

  • @andrademeza I don't know but I'm not a girl, Im a guy and I hope your a girl cause I clearly posted my pic on my profile. So if your not a girl please stop cause i'm not interested in guys, this may not be the 1980's but that doesn't mean i'm not into the ladies. I'm a manly man, not a punk or a bitch.

Sorry dude, I thought you were a girl and you thought I was a girl. Kinda funny actually. You should have checked my profile first.

  • @iguardcalifornia wat the heck? what happend to the girl in the video? i though thats who i was talking to and no i didnt check your profile...ah mannn......hahahahah thats embarrassing...i think you should delete this whole conversation for both our sakes. and yeah kinda funny. lol now DELETE conv...
