Oh man, that was so bad. All night - Letterman show commercials - no mention of GG. Performance stuck on at the very end. Clothes - >For a concert - cool, to say hello to the USA -->way too sexy. I'm a big fan, but really, as your introduction to the US, you use "The Boys"? Really? Easily their weakess popular song. I think they did a good show, but their management should be fired for what they did to GG's career here in America today HOPEFULLY, the morning show tomorrow will be better.

I don't really like the english version of the boys (because it sounds kind of tacky) but SNSD always performs strongly. They have killer bodies and know exactly how to work them in tune to the music and they sing well. I missed the perf but I know they didn't disappoint. I'll probably watch them on Kelly 2morrow.

Letterman also influenced every talk show host today including Conan, Jon Stewart, Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, Ellen and Regis. Letterman owned past #1 shows like Raymond.

Letterman's music booking is the most prestigious on American shows (along with SNL)

Ellen has a much much smaller audience. Although she probably is more popular with SNSD's fans

The better Late Night shows would be Jimmy Kimmel or Conan, for SNSD's audience.

For SNSD's audience, which tends to be younger people, Letterman might be worse than Kimmel or Conan, but overall ratings and prestige, its still Letterman. Leno and Letterman are both tied in ratings right now, so doesn't matter there too much. Also, Ellen would be more fitting to a group like SNSD, but maybe they can hit LA next time, maybe even try Leno too, who knows. However, I agree with Shalom with music booking.

Exactly, this song is a terrible choice for introducing SNSD to general public in America.

The group name is girl's generation which Americans will think its a teenie pop group due to its name and imagine when first time Americans hear them saying "Bring the boys out!" Over and over.
