@jasonmhall1972 I agree so much. I'm 11 and kind of clumsy but my atrix is slippery! and my print scanner wouldnt work until just a few days ago. Mine actually overheats a little too much and shuts down by itself at the most random times often. its quite annoying. i cant wait til 2013 when i can finally get my new phone. fudge this phone. DONT BUY PEOPLE WHO WANT THIS PHONE! ITS NOT AS IT SEEMS.

@xMachetebeastx I can back up your comment. i eagerly awaited gingerbread in the hope it would clear the major bug issues but i have now found it has worsened i.e youtube will now and then freeze causing you to remove the battery.battery although large still dies very quickly, the 1 gig memory makes no difference to speed and fluidness due to most of it being reseved for webtop and the rest being constanly used on background apps. always force closes i hate it with a passion fuk u motorola

I hate this phone, Motorola Atrix 4G. I have had this phone for a few months and now after many resets and replacements it will no longer receive texts or phone calls.  I also have many error messages that tell me to force close things after the phone come back from being frozen for a few mins. When I turn on the phone it take twenty mins before I see the title screen after it reboots many times.

@bab2ca It will also reboot randomly throughout the day without touching it. I haven't used any of my apps that I have on the phone in a few weeks now because trying to unlock and type a text takes way to long.

I just received mine yesterday. Previous I had the iphone 3GS. The Atrix is a nice phone but it is not better constructed than my old iphone. It has some features I like better than the iphone though.

@vampzgirl6 if you aren't bothered with the camera too much then you should definitely get this phone. The 5 mp camera is average and isn't that impressive but apart from that it's an awesome phone. My mate owns one and I am getting this for christmas as well.

ok so i have the atrix 4g, it's the best phone i've ever had. it is extremely fast and the battery life is very good comparing to HTC's. the finger scanning takes a while to get used to but you can always get rid of it if you want. it also comes with hella internal memory. I Love My Atrix.

Hi, do you have to click the unlock button (Scanner) when it goes to sleep mode? or you can just swipe your finger and unlocks the phone even if the screen is off? I have the HTC Inspire and this Atrix might be my mom's gift this coming Thanks Giving.

Don't get this phone.. it has horrible battery life- doesn't even last a day. The unlock button is awkwardly placed, and you can't hold it comfortably landscape because the soft buttons are capacitive, weak speaker, its hard to hear during calls, and it's a pain in the ass to hook up the charger (tiny little port). Camera takes awful pictures, they always come out blurry. Very unhappy with this phone.
