That game is more a re-imagining of SSF2T by the comic creators, which the comic isn't canon either. I've actually read the canon guide, and man was it long. The game that is canon to the story currently is SSF2T Revival, because it corrects the ties to the Alpha series. But from the canon guide, it doesn't state who actually won SF2.

Why didn't you use Itoshisa To Setsunasa To Kokoro Tsuyosa To instead of the Lufia II music, it would have been like Street Fighter II The Animated Movie.
Isn't that what he actually does in his very debut in SSF2T? He pulls a ShunGokuSatsu on Bison's ass, and then he fights you. The only difference is that Bison isn't defeated, but it's not like Akuma gives him much of a chance of defending himself, randomly and suddenly coming from behind and attacking him with a 1hko move. Plus, his SFA2 ending shows he has fought Bison before: if Bison had won, I Akuma wouldn't be alive, so I think Akuma probably won and Bison escaped.
It is possible the some of Akuma's STA2 ending didn't happen. I just figured he wouldn't kill a beaten up Bison since he stopped fighting Gen because of Gen's disease.
It is acceptable in this scenario that Akuma killed Bison, simply because Bison is too proud of himself therefore Bison died in a way like an irritating cockroach being crush..
Very well-made series of vids...but according to official word, the canonical winner of that tournament was either Chun Li or Guile, not Ryu. (Personally, I think it was Guile because his ending's the only one that relies specifically on him beating Bison for it to happen.)
It may be a guess, but it's a pretty good guess for 2 reasons: (1) Urien references Chun Li's takedown of Shadowloo in SF3 Third Strike, and the takedown could've happened whether or not Chun Li personally beat Bison; (2) out of all the SF2 characters, Guile's ending is the only one that seems to rely heaviest on his fighting Bison, both according to Tiamat and IMHO. Although at one point I would've liked it if Ryu had been the one to beat Bison. ^-^
Well, I also recall reading somewhere (if not in Tiamat's writings) that Ken had said he'd only marry Eliza if he could beat Ryu in a fair match. And considering he's married to her now, it's probable he beat Ryu in SF2, then got beat himself later on in the tourny, and then Guile went on to face Bison. I doubt if it had been somebody else who fought Bison, that they'd just let Guile run up with his vendetta, or that he'd be able to do it before Akuma stepped in and killed Bison.
Oops for the last part of my reply just now. I meant to say "AFTER" Akuma stepped in and killed Bison. After all, Bison was still pretty weak from the last fight when Akuma confronted him. And Guile wouldn't have had a lot of time between Bison's defeat and death at Akuma's hands to confront him, unless he was the one who actually fought Bison. Just a thought.

I suppose it IS rendered moot by now when you consider that the long and short is, Bison's dead and Shadowloo's finished and over with, so I'm willing to agree to that. ^_^ I really do wish, though, that Capcom would hurry up and give official word about how the SF2 tourny turned out and who fought whom. Maybe they'll do that in the upcoming Street Fighter 4, since it's set in between SF2 and SF3.
But the only thing i would say that could've made it fully accurate is:
1) Ryu defeated Dhalsim in the tournament. Ryu confirms this after u defeat Necro in SF3TS.
2) Ken defeats Ryu. He said that he wouldnt marry Eliza w/o defeating ryu first. I think its best this way as Ryu and Ken after third strike both have 2 wins and 2 losses.
3) I think after Ken defeats Ryu he drops out as it was his inly goal, thus Sagat does prolly still defeat Guile but lets him continue on to face Bson.

You did a great job in the 1st half of the saga but you completely fucked it up in the second half. Technically it was Guile who won the Tournement because when Guile was going up to fight Bison Akuma appered with the Demon Rage and Killed him. Also that flashback with Sakura and Ken fighting bison, It was suppose to be Ken,Ryu,Sagat, and Sakura. You left out a SHIT LOAD OF GAPs but you did do a great job.
Well, there is no official statements from capcom about the winner of the tournament. The Guile thing is a speculation based on his ending. And Ken and Sakura did fight Bison while brainwashed Ryu and Sagat were fighting each other.
He organized the tournament to gain revenge on his enemies, the reason he dosen't use the Psycho shot or hover is because he possesed Rose's body after his body got destroyed when the Psycho Drive facility exploded, he was given a new body, but when possessing Rose, he expelled all his humanity and good, therefore when he possessed his new body, he became "weak" because he possesed a body of a "good person", but with his body in SF4, gained his teleport back.
u should take this all tehw ay to street fighter 3 with gill and have his story a story of urien and gill.. and or something. thing about it is if bison died in world warrior saga.. and that was first saga (then alpha and all that) why was he in there? i remember him only dieing in capcom vs snk 2.. or what seemed to be from akuma

Ryu probably did want a rematch with M.Bison after what he did to him in Alpha 3.Also,in Street Fighter 4,there should be a final battle between Ryu & Akuma.
Anyway, I believe it was either Chun Li or Guile that fought Bison/Vega and defeated him. Guile of course didn't kill Bison and I guess when Guile or Chun Li turned their backs, I think that's when Akuma showed up...this storyline is very confusing, but Chun Li's background says that it was her who defeated Bison or actually brought down Shadoloo
5 starsm but honestly, I think Ken defeated Ryu and then Ken forfeit his position in the tournament, when Sagat heard the news I honestly believe that Sagat forfeited as well, but then again I am not sure. I don't know if Sagat wanted to enter this tournament in order to regain his title of "The World Warrior"/"King Of The Hill" or to simply only fight Ryu, just like Ken.
Actually,Chun li is officially the winner of the tournament,in the book titled Everything About CAPCOM says the true history of Street Fighter and Chun li was who defeated Bison,and a few minutes later Akuma appeared and kill him,but Chun Li was who defeated Bison,and i have heard also than she was who defeated Gill en SF 3 , Third Strike.
About Chun-li and Bison,i recommend you to search for that book (Evarything about CAPCOM),you will find that detail which i am talking about,officially Chun-li is the winner in SF 2,and about Gill,its true,originally Alex was who defeated him (actually,Gill let him win),but some time later CAPCOM admited than Alex was not enough to be the winner,and some time later,in Third strike,the starring role was for Chun-li,in addition of the first SF 3 games has not enough success.
I remeber Ryu whippin Alex ass with ease, thats why hard to see Alex winning the SF3 torunament, but Capcom let to many things contracdict the book. theres damn near 20 manga and anime depicting Ryu taxing Bison arsh
From what I read it's quite possible that Ken beat Ryu before he got to the finals. Not definite, but I recall it saying he married Eliza after he was able to finally get a decisive win over Ryu. Which is most likely why Ryu didn't win the tournament.
Lets face it, Ryu is, and always will be the main protagonist of the Street Fighter series.
Ryu wins the SFII because he's the main character. The main character always wins. That's tradition.

And Guile wouldn't have had a lot of time between Bison's defeat and death at Akuma's hands to confront him, unless he was the one who actually fought Bison. Just a thought.

Ryu's ending has him wondering if he is the strongest fighter (Older versions have him not going to the award ceremony)...that wouldn't make sense if he got defeated. Also, there is a part of the plot guide that says that Ken didn't necessarily beat Ryu in sf2.
Plus Ken slacked off for some time before sf2, so it's logical that Ryu is stronger at this point.
We can go over this over 9000 times, but this just ends up being guesses vs guesses and neither of us can prove the other one wrong.

I suppose it IS rendered moot by now when you consider that the long and short is, Bison's dead and Shadowloo's finished and over with, so I'm willing to agree to that. ^_^ I really do wish, though, that Capcom would hurry up and give official word about how the SF2 tourny turned out and who fought whom. Maybe they'll do that in the upcoming Street Fighter 4, since it's set in between SF2 and SF3.

But the only thing i would say that could've made it fully accurate is:
1) Ryu defeated Dhalsim in the tournament. Ryu confirms this after u defeat Necro in SF3TS.
2) Ken defeats Ryu. He said that he wouldnt marry Eliza w/o defeating ryu first. I think its best this way as Ryu and Ken after third strike both have 2 wins and 2 losses.

3) I think after Ken defeats Ryu he drops out as it was his inly goal, thus Sagat does prolly still defeat Guile but lets him continue on to face Bson.
4) Ur scenario w/ Chun Li was perfect!

You did a great job in the 1st half of the saga but you completely fucked it up in the second half. Technically it was Guile who won the Tournement because when Guile was going up to fight Bison Akuma appered with the Demon Rage and Killed him. Also that flashback with Sakura and Ken fighting bison, It was suppose to be Ken,Ryu,Sagat, and Sakura. You left out a SHIT LOAD OF GAPs but you did do a great job.

Well, there is no official statements from capcom about the winner of the tournament. The Guile thing is a speculation based on his ending. And Ken and Sakura did fight Bison while brainwashed Ryu and Sagat were fighting each other.

He organized the tournament to gain revenge on his enemies, the reason he dosen't use the Psycho shot or hover is because he possesed Rose's body after his body got destroyed when the Psycho Drive facility exploded, he was given a new body, but when possessing Rose, he expelled all his humanity and good, therefore when he possessed his new body, he became "weak" because he possesed a body of a "good person", but with his body in SF4, gained his teleport back.

It makes so much more sense for Ryu to beat M.Bison/Vega than Chun Li to do it. And lets face it, Ryu is, and always will be the main protagonist of the Street Fighter series.

Ryu probably did want a rematch with M.Bison after what he did to him in Alpha 3.Also,in Street Fighter 4,there should be a final battle between Ryu & Akuma.

Anyway, I believe it was either Chun Li or Guile that fought Bison/Vega and defeated him. Guile of course didn't kill Bison and I guess when Guile or Chun Li turned their backs, I think that's when Akuma showed up...this storyline is very confusing, but Chun Li's background says that it was her who defeated Bison or actually brought down Shadoloo

5 starsm but honestly, I think Ken defeated Ryu and then Ken forfeit his position in the tournament, when Sagat heard the news I honestly believe that Sagat forfeited as well, but then again I am not sure. I don't know if Sagat wanted to enter this tournament in order to regain his title of "The World Warrior"/"King Of The Hill" or to simply only fight Ryu, just like Ken.

Nice story. Still, I think Ryu shouldn´t be in the finals. Chun Li or Guile were the ones who most surely won the tournment...But anyway, five stars.

Actually,Chun li is officially the winner of the tournament,in the book titled Everything About CAPCOM says the true history of Street Fighter and Chun li was who defeated Bison,and a few minutes later Akuma appeared and kill him,but Chun Li was who defeated Bison,and i have heard also than she was who defeated Gill en SF 3 , Third Strike.

About Chun-li and Bison,i recommend you to search for that book (Evarything about CAPCOM),you will find that detail which i am talking about,officially Chun-li is the winner in SF 2,and about Gill,its true,originally Alex was who defeated him (actually,Gill let him win),but some time later CAPCOM admited than Alex was not enough to be the winner,and some time later,in Third strike,the starring role was for Chun-li,in addition of the first SF 3 games has not enough success.

I remeber Ryu whippin Alex ass with ease, thats why hard to see Alex winning the SF3 torunament, but Capcom let to many things contracdict the book. theres damn near 20 manga and anime depicting Ryu taxing Bison arsh

From what I read it's quite possible that Ken beat Ryu before he got to the finals. Not definite, but I recall it saying he married Eliza after he was able to finally get a decisive win over Ryu. Which is most likely why Ryu didn't win the tournament.
