  • The comparison 5fps -> 8fps is great!

    Thanks a lot!

  • 40,000 shots on 8 AA batteries?

    Come on...

    Really?

  • @foodmore i think 3000-4000 :O

  • This sounds faster than 8fps.

  • lol these kids on here.

I can't do replies on the iPhone so I'll say this up front. I personally believe to never hold cH longer than 1 or 2 seconds, it's a waste. And to the guy that said what the R/W specs are for the card, it's 60 I believe, but that's in camera only. USB can't download quick enough, you'd need a Sandisk express card slot reader.

  • Will stick to the 12fps on my a77 ;D

  • @Robellislol Are you really comparing your crappy A77 with a PROFESIONAL FULL FRAME CAMERA? Come on! You ignorant fool!

  • @akphoto2010 Pahaha...grow a pair, youre seriously deluded if you think that the a77 cant pull its weight against the d700, even if its not full frame :S

  • @Robellislol the a77 cannot hold shit up to the d700, it can last a 12 fps for about 4 seconds

  • @iElemento You wanna play that game...lets drop the a77 down to 12 megapixels...and then take it down to 8fps, and then complain about the a77s buffer compared to the d700s.

  • 8 fps for wedding...good joke :-S

  • you don't need eight frames per second to catch "the shot," you need a trained eye and a responsive shutter button. "pray and spray only gets you so far."

  • Dude, I really love this sound....but I do always get a baaaad conscience if I push the trigger so long!! :D Even if I only got about 10000 releases on my D300s :D

  • What was the sustained read and write speed for the SANDISK 32GB EXTREME PRO when connect it to the computer via USB ? Could you run a test on this memory card in your D700 using high speed shooting mode (8 frames/s) and show us how many photos it can take on full speed, and how long it takes for the memory card access lamp to turn off ?

  • can i have your camera

  • 8fps on fx mode?

  • @Carlssontom yes

  • name of the lense?:)

  • @Carlssontom thats a 50mm prime. f1.8

  • Does the grip still work without a battery inside the camera?

  • @braynumb I have asked same question, and they said yes.

  • You'd think there would be empty shells flying out the side!!! :P WOW!!

  • Or you can buy a En-EL4a battery, how does that sound?

  • Nice vid.

  • Awesome demo, to the point, no BS. Thank you! Showed me just what I came to see. Does the 8fps work with the other batteries, the Nikon ones?

  • @darkspeed62 En-EL4a

  • May I ask how they are "Very Expensive" at only $1 a piece? I pay $80 for 1 battery for my camera.

  • @175myles what battery do u buy?

  • @13elsauz, Buy the battery that is meant for the camera.

  • Cool demo, was this in jpeg mode or raw mode or both? i have the lexar 300x compact flash card and i get about 15 shots in raw mode with small jpegs before it starts to slow down. Is there a difference with a 600x card?

  • Coool. I'm getting that for my D700. I'm also thinking of getting the extended battery so I don't have to load the AA's in there.

How many shots can you squeeze off before it starts slowing down?

  • wooow
