@erika2012vsu: if you're talking about Maggie, fail, because there were a few white girls at Spelman when my girls were there. HBCU's can't refuse to accept a student because they aren't black.
@madamebishop I'm not reffering to Maggie or any of the Whites I went to an HBCU also and I'm aware that they're are white students. The plotline was scattered.
I was, still and ALWAYS will be a ADW fan compared to what's on TV now, even season 1 eps. If you take a real HARD LOOK at season one, there's VERY STRONG resemblance to SQUARE PEGS due to the fact that ANNE BEATS was exec. prod. at the time.
@josephmjm515 Unfortunately, depending on the episode certain characters gain and lose skills on a whim. Whitley is a good singer when Gladys Knight comes to Hillman, but in other episodes she is horrible at it. She also goes from being in Calculus and being good at it to dodging college algebra and nearly failing.
@modelspiceboi: totally agree. It's as if they forget that viewers have institutional memory of the series. But when I read your post, I remember thinking that there were continuity issues like this on The Golden Girls a couple of times, although I can't remember what the issues were to save my life. Bottom line: no show is perfect.

@Hagar7 not maggie it's just the atmosphere of it. not race wise. it just seemed unrealistic.
