let's just say I feel considerably more inspired by this video clip than by any video clip on MTV lately....there is truth in the bits and pieces, and no easy answers (of course).
Yeah, if you can't arrive at some of these conclusions on your own, you've never used your brain before. Of all the people we should be turning to, the lucky and famous are a skip and a step behind politicians.
@jusek27 That's pretty ignorant to say, wisdom is taken from all places, politicians and celebrities have their own philosophies and beliefs as well, and their are just as good as philosophers and thinkers. If you stop being close minded, you can listen to everyone and anyone to get more insights to different pov and learn from it.
@jusek27 In a perfect world, your second statement might be true. However, in this world, I would almost always turn to an artist, or in several of these cases, experienced, unbiased elderly people who have seen a lot of the world, for wisdom; not a politician.
Honestly, I don't know. But they didn't focus only on actors, which is an important part of it. Bishop Desmond Tutu, Jane Goodall, Madeleine Albright... the list goes on, you know?
Because you wouldn't have watched this video if it wasn't people you perceived to be of some importance to media and society. Listen to the words, not look at the faces. It's not supposed to change your life or make you realize something you never knew...it's a collection of ideas.
unless that difference perpetuates ignorance. such as ignorant beliefs, say in the form of a religion or a superstition. if you just sit back and respect it then the issues that arise from it will be allowed to grow and spread, and then the inquisition will happen again...

I love how you guys are blasting actors for not having wisdom while basing your opinion purely on their profession.
You could all do with a little wisdom yourselves.
