I am a mixed bood..decended from the cherokee forced on this death march. At one point my elderly ancestor and his wife, were allowed to escape during the night. They walked into Southern Indiana..where several of their children were already living (fought with Tecumsah against the whites). There were a few others that also managed to escape and come to that area of Indiana. I'm proud of my Native American ancestory. most people in america are christian though. most famous people are as well. tom cruise, seth rogan, adam sandler, and some others are exceptions, but christianity is such a broad range of religions that it just doesn't seem like it's a big deal. johnny cash however, is a badass, and his influence will reach many more generations to come. he is a legend, and in music, he is a god.
