As a player who's into his realism, I have to say Theathre of War is a far superior game to Men of War. As many have said though, you can't really compare them. Bother are fun games. I wish ToW had a proper skirmish mode though.

This is meant to be somewhat realistic.  MOW is not, you can repair a crushed hull in MOW..with one guy and a magic repair kit.... in a matter of minutes... lol.

@bloodravenist Yes it is, in poor words it's TW in the WWII, but without the strategic map. Would be awesome a ToW in TW style with also the strategic map......inaccurate historically (because you can change the curse of history) but fantastic to play and much more strategic :)

@chrysanthos66 Real time tactics the total war series is a RTT game the difference from RTS and RTT is that RTS focuses on recourse gathering and base building and combat but not as good of a combat system, RTT is solely on Combat and positioning of troops and stuff like that

Problem with this game is that the Brits speak with VERY STRONG American accents. Battlefront 'prides' itself on how its games are really well-researched and 'realistic' but they messed up epically with this one 'minor' detail.

This is a military simulation, so far more realistic, in so many ways. Men of War is more of an arcade game, so it ditches realism in favour of action.

Arcadey games appeal to the masses because there's lots of explosions, realistic/simulations appeal to less people because they're so...realistic (harder) :)
