  • Man, this is amazing. I'm truly jealous haha. You played this? Wow. Very nice. :D

I play flute (I don't know how similar they are, but they produce a similar sound), so I understand how much practice it takes to get such a clear, beautiful sound. You should get a pianist to accomany you, make it sound all dramatic and awesome (though you definitely don't need it :D).

Good job, I'd like to hear more. :3

  • @kankypoo and FatherOblivien Thank you for your kind comments. I am still playing, but really ought discipline myself to recording some more. I have been distracted making a bass-A whistle. Almost there ;-)

  • @kankypoo A whistle is similar to a flute, but easier to start with - the whistle makes the embouchure that flautists struggle to master. Skilled players get more range and variation out of a flute than out of a whistle. Oh and a whistle has no keys. Try one, they can be cheap, or try an 'irish' (keyless) flute.

  • @PhillvanLeersum Oh I see. That's really cool. :D I have always wanted an instrument that produced a sound like that. I do have a bamboo flute, but it's amazingly hard to play. ^^>

  • Just had another to this. Still love it ! :)

  • This is lovely. The whistle has a nice "breathy" tone that I like very much. 5 stars mate :)

  • Thank you for the kind words and for the rating. My goal is to make music people enjoy, and positive feedback encourages me.

  • aww Phill, this is definitely out of my league, but not in the way you meant... :) I have much to learn from you.
