@Zombietoots The Muppets are known for doing covers of popular songs during the time, that's pretty much 93% of the skits they did on the Muppet Show. During the time this skit was done, the viewers were more familiar and aware who Louis Armstrong was than people these days.

Plus back then, it was much easier to grab the rights to songs than it is today. Back then you could just ask the songwriter/artist themselves. Now it's a crappy complicated process.

@1990babyface Yeah, Rowlf is the pianist for the main show, but the Good Dr. did have a couple of solos with the piano, this being one of them. Normally, he'd play with the rest of the Electric Mayhem, but there was one instance in the Diana Ross episode where Rowlf played the piano part of Beaker's song, while the rest of the Mayhem was there.
