  • Phil Collen Sig Jackson!!! <333

  • nice whammy bar trick!

    nice guitar

  • do you use an ART preamp???

  • Hey Steve, the Jackson sustainer sounds like a load of fun - you definitely gave it a fair share of play on here! Nice playing btw! How would you compare it to others on the market , say Sustainiac, Fernandes or even the original Floyd sustainer, if at all? It seems that the differences between them are pretty negligible!

  • your the best!!! best d.l cover i ever saw.

  • Most excellent...thanks for your time and effort....

  • great sustain

  • Amazing playing! What song of theirs would you say is your favorite and favorite to play?

  • how are you playin that first note when you turn up the volume, is that a natural harmonic, pinch harmonic or what, lol

  • R.I.P. Steve Clark......

  • dude. youre totally right! these 2 would have an amazing jam session!!!

  • that's so Fucking Perfect!

  • hahaha sooo awsome making that guitar sing like that. swear steve clark and phil colin was doin this.

  • nice phjackson.

  • Man you are awesome!! Can you please tell me how you sustain your notes so long? I have tried to follow you and don't even come close. I was wondering what kind of set you have. I have only been for 6 1/2 months, but I would like to have that sound. Please help. Keep upi the awesome playing!!

  • he sustains his notes with a sustainer they are on pc1's

  • its a sustaniac pickup...i have only seen them sold on Jacksons

  • They are are called Sustainer's and there made by Fernandes you can buy the pups by themselves or in one of their guitars!!!

  • Its a Jackson sustainer/driver. Not a Fernades. The Jackson works in all 5 pos. worlds apart!!

  • Correction!

It's a actually a Fernandes Sustainer that is Licensed by Jackson! Kinda like the difference between a real Floyd and a "Licensed" one... It doesn't mater!

  • Sorry chief, not the case! As steve will tell you, I have 3 PC's. It is Jacksons Sustainer, And btw, you should know the diff. between a floyd and a licensed all day! My Kahler on my dt555 feels better than a copy floyd, but thats just my opinion.

  • Look, the technology is owned by Fernandes! They license to Fender/Jackson!

Depends on who's making the Floyd! I see some good licensed ones that are made with good metal and don't cut your damn strings! Off the top of my head, Peavey makes good one's for their higher end guitars!

I've never talked to someone whose purposely bought a Kahler! Wow, comparing a Kahler to any Floyd is like comparing Betty White to Megan Fox! I know you're the kind of guy who needs to be right, but you're not!

  • Every video of your playing, I've become a bigger fan of "you" mate. You're hell awesome. May be you should be the one who replace if the Leppards need some.

  • you need to do "love" of the sparkle lounge. that would be a kickass song to do on guitar

  • yeah , do love !

  • DUDE YOU ARE FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

  • very well

  • $1800 is cheap billyhyde sell these 4 $5700

  • i dont know how anyone is able to afford such a beautiful instrument.... id love one, but dont think thats gonna happen in this lifetime!!! lol

  • I own 3, if you'd like to buy one for less than new price

  • haha... thanks bro... but i dont think i could even afford one used! ive got a jackson dk2m, and thats the most ive paid for a guitar in a loooong time! lol

  • How much would you be willing to sell one for? I want one so bad although I wouldn't be able to buy it until the end of the summer probably because I would have to save up for it.

  • 1,800

  • @STEVE04050 could you go cheaper than that like free? just kidding but how low will you go

  • @ilikehairbands

hi guys what are you talking bout? Your posts caught my attent.

  • @STEVE04050 why would you want 3 of them? Awesome playing btw

  • very good version :]

  • AWESOME

  • DUDE U PUT THE MEANING LEAD GUITAR TO A WHOLE OTHER MEANING that was so tight haha

  • Awesome\m/. The sustain is friggin' great. You can do so much more with it. I gotta get a PC1. I wanted the PC white archtop by Charvel/Jackson but its way hard to find.

    Keep up the good work\m/

  • a good job

  • The best!!!

  • nice, nice, nice...

  • simply awesome...

  • SWEET!!!!! Thanks for keepin the good rock alive!

  • Rock On my Brother!

  • good job, gotta love those Jackson PC1's i have a solar one like yours and and aqua one,the sustainer is way fun huh

  • AWESOME DUDE!!

  • It may not be exactly the same as DL played it but music is subjective and it would be a boring world if everyone played music the same way. If you said this was a tribute then it should be played the same but this is labeled a cover and you can play it anyway you like. Nice job!

  • MASTER!!!

  • you the best, i love you! The best def leppard cover ever. Rock on!

  • can you believe this dick ImprovisorsSuck...just from his name you know he goes around writing negative posts on guitar players (he seems to have a hard on for Steve04050)

he doesn't even play anything other than guitar hero....he won't even put his own playing up to be judged...what a sanctimonious jerk

  • dude under me be hatin. rock the fuck on bro

  • you are a dick...all you do is go around on the internet and bad mouth guitar players...your nothing but a jealous dick

    he plays great

  • as if u could do better, u jackass!! Steve rules, i wudnt be suprised if he wud be asked by phil collens himself to carry on the def leppard legacy....anyway improvisation is what people want nowadays, coz if it wasnt around, fans would get bored of listening to the same thing over and over again...so yeh, shut ur face coz it is obvious u dont no shit bout music

  • i was replying to ImprovisorsSuck!!!!

  • will you play 'love and affection" ?

  • very goodd

    awesomeeee

  • the way you did the intro actually sounds better than the studio version. If you re-recorded Hysteria with your guitar work it would be like 10 times better

  • the album I mean

  • No fair, you get to cheat with the PC1 hehehe. Nice playing.

  • My fave def lep song <3

    Awesomely played =]

    Abz x

  • What can I say....superb

  • Love it...

  • OMG !!!! simply awsome :)

  • Hey man great job. I have a question. Could you do a video showing the solo close up. I have the solo down except for 3:52 on. I just can't seem to figure that part out, and I don't trust tabs. I just like to learn by watching and listening.

  • thats a pc-1 jackson my next toy for sure , the pc for phil collen. YES the same one phil uses from Def Leppard nice work!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude your freakin awsome

  • You are my hero dude!this is amazing.you and Kapiwolf123 are the best lepp covers on youtube!Whats the model of your jackson?sounds like a lepp song should be played.you Rock, you need to take that talent somewere in life.Your a great player,i love your covers.

  • Hey Steve, GREAT videos, top notch stuff. Is there any chance you could do a video on how to play Hysteria, or even just the chorus parts?? I know you probably get a lot of requests so sorry for adding another one to a possibly ever expanding list!!

    Cheers from Ireland.

  • hey steve when are you gonna do some more covers

  • Dude, you need to cover Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion) and the new album.

  • Woooooow ... fantastic sound like the original

What kind of Amp do you use ?

Very big Chorus and small Flanger ?

Any infos about sound configuration would be nice. Cheers.

    Stephane.

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where did you get the video

  • you tube

  • how did you get the part at 1:22

  • Watching phil play it in a video that he shows what he's doing. Anything else?

  • very nice man [:

i like how u got ur guitar to sound like the guitar in the song

how did u do it :O

  • nicly done. i like your own personal touches to the song. ie. rythm at the end. unheard to the average ears. sounds good. nice job man. i wish i could afford a jackson PC1!!! that way i could properly execute def leppard songs just like you! lol

  • steve. awesome techniques my friend. great skill. but tell me i'm wrong when those long rings are formed from the built in sustainer in the pc1 jackson model guitar! i got a trick to show u that doesn't require one!!!!

  • Don't tease! Post it. Show US the trick. This is youtube. You post it, you be the star. Steve0 is already a star in his own right. :)

  • Awesome job. Hey, how do you get that loooong sustain at the first of the song? Great tone too...what's your rig?

  • Hey Steve, can u play the live version of hysteria from In the round tour '88?

  • yes

  • That was incredible, you are really talented. I love this song, could listen to it all day.

  • The best! That was almost perfect! Def leppard rocks!!!

  • Awesome technique

  • Wow! Saw this once on my laptop with the tiny laptop speakers and wasn't impressed. A few months later and was practicing with the laptop hooked up to my combo amp and ran into this video again...HOLY SHIET, you rock!

  • killer cover!

  • Steve, I gotta say, "Keep up the great work!"

You are by FAR the BEST person I've seen on YouTube to play ANY Def Leppard songs.

You can always know that I will be a true fan of you guitar skills. *bows down*

  • Thank you very much, im honored

  • STEVE!!!, to clear things up, the part where it goes, "i gotta know tonight" then the guitar strums those 3 chords, that part when steve played, I've never heard it played like that, is that how its played live?. And the part where they sing the chorus "i get hysterical, hysteria....ect" Phils guitar part is right, but the rythm part was slightly off because you repeated the same chords. If you listen to it closely, the rythem is repeated, but changes a chord, then goes back.Correct? Thanks!

  • Yeah, I play what phil plays live, that little run is instead of the chords, there were 11 tracks for guitar alone on the album, and what I play i DO change the note, try to watch the middle finger for the first two notes and the pointer does the last note for the "oh can you feel it part". Want a lesson video?
