  • I used to breast stroke like this, then I took an arrow to the knee

  • i swim a 50m and a 100m breast stroke every swim meet along with a 50m free and 2 100m free. im a rookie. -.- i get sooo tired.

  • Please keep your arms straight and high. Almost keep the same level as water.

BTW, remember the kicking time is also need to control. You have to prepare to kick out before you recover your arms.

  • I keep sinking deep after each breath and delays my next breathing momentum, any tips?

  • @khazhaexotic your head shouldn't come up alot to breath, you should keep your chin in the water at all times, every inch that your head goes up = 2 inches your waist drops

  • amazing!!

  • this is really good and v.helpful video, if only you could add voice to it ,it would more helpful for beginner like me.

  • you should put more power to shoulders and arms to came out of the water or in the legs?

  • @marilou7itgr the main power of breast stroke is from the leg actually. The arms only support us to lift up our body to breath. Hope this would help! =D

  • @epiphone493 more then 3/4of speed comes from pull, for me anyways

  • now i understood:)

  • shows in a relaxed motion how to time arms and legs

  • which swimming styles if done regularly will make you grow taller?

  • @TheLeilisa none

  • hands aren't supposed to go completley out of the water and her outsweep is a bit big. the elbows should get bent at a 45 degree angle inward to get maximum pull of water (like in freestyle of butterfly)

  • @swimdude006

you actually go faster when your arms come out of the water.. you get more momentum when you go for your next pull...

  • @swimdude006

you actually go faster when your hands come out of the water... watch all the pros.. you get more momentum for your next pull.

  • @heresthelastone Actually if your hands come out of the water, you splash more which slows you down.

  • hands a bit wide on the out sweep,,,

  • best clip !

  • I think the elbows should be just a little more bent in the outsweep.

  • I love japanese... thanks a lot vey much helpful. I have improved a lot due to this clip

  • Excellent. thanks for sharing.

  • v good thanks

  • It shows that hands must come half out of the warter before arm stroke and that we should dive a little bit to force your body to wave, helping it gaining more speed.

  • The kick after the arms stroke is key for good propulsion under the water. Thanks for this video.

  • what happens if youre physically not able to kick?

well you go slowly. :P it gets annoying after a while

  • @YARTES2K8 BREATH OUT ON THE KICK AND REALLY STRETCH FOR MAXIMUM MOMENTUM DON'T START BREATHING OUT STRAIGHT AWAY!

  • @nounever wait why?

  • @staddlez you can if you want it's just this REALLY helps with the rhythm in my opinion.
