  • Seriously though this game was amazing. I remember playing it for hours and doing the jumps and tricks on the first track to be able to ride the dolphin. Epic times. "Here's what happens when you win! ' Congratulations, you finished SECOND! ' "

  • lol this guys a wanker. Look! Riding backwards.

  • this is creepy

  • this guy is a dil! back when everyday had replay value just cause they were damn good and to this day i still enjoy having my mates over and playing the classics like golden eye, worms, mario 64 etc and if i still had it would whack this out .

  • this is without doubt the best jetski game ever made!

  • too short of a game? my friends and I played this for en entire summer back in the day...

  • when we were young me and my brother would always get a kick out of the pink suited girl because it looked like she pooped in her suit hahaah

  • I played this for hours as a kid. Still do

  • i never got the dolphin T_T

  • SUPER MARIO 64 too short?? Dude.. your an ass

  • He calls it a masterpiece and tells you to rent it.

Other than a weird conclusion to rent it, it's a pretty decent review.

  • Heeey ! come back ! Try again !!!

  • Who is this guy's audience?

  • this game used to cost 70 dollars... I picked this up at a game store for $3.50

  • This guy is a fucking idiot. He hated FF7, Goldeneye and a bunch of other games that today are considered the pinnacle of gaming...

  • DO A BARREL ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THIs GAME WAS EPIC!!!

  • hahaha! gaming in the clinton years.. it was the best gaming years indeed

  • i have a question, didnt you have to go on higher difficulties for more levels?

  • Haha I remember this game.

  • "Here's what happens when you win". and the guy on the screen finishes 2nd. Seriously, that's the best finish they could get?

  • Short game and only worth a rental my ass!..... this game is the one I played the MOST on the N64. My friends and I would each borrow the cartridge and max out each others lap times, then I'd get it back and smash their scores and so on. This game is the shit and I'm suprised that it hasn't been bettered ..... ever. In this console generation now we should have a game this good.

  • @L1VE3V1L Come on, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. He gave GOLDENEYE a bad review for god's sake.

  • @KevServo i agree with u mate this guy blows major dick

  • the water has amazing graphics for an early n64 game

  • great stuff... good for "a few days" - ok. Years later...

  • MASTERPIECE

  • This game was very impressive when it first came out. The water effects were dazzling. After seeing Mario 64, Pilotwings, and Wave Race in the few couple of months, it seemed like the sky was the limit for this system.

  • whats better jet moto or wace race?

    for those that played both

  • god i have been trying to think of what the name of that game was, jet moto. i only played jet moto 2, and honestly its really close. both had great things going for them

  • @trapez77 jet moto is better

  • This was one of the earliest N64 games. They weren't very good at making character models back then, but the graphics of the water and courses were better than any console racing game up to that point. On top of that, the control really demonstrated how great the analog thumb stick would be for the future of gaming. Sony was pretty quick to realize this and release the dual-shock controller for PS1. Before that, there weren't a whole lot of killer PS1 games.

  • 1:36

    lol

  • Sir you are a first class WANKER!!!! :D

  • perfect... best game ever on the genre

  • Was this really $70? I remember my parents bought this for me as my second game for the n64 (first was starfox) - Good times

  • i remember buying the first tony hawk game for $64.95 at target. my brother and i split it halfies.

  • 70 bucks!!!

  • MAXIMUM POWEEERRRR!!!!!!!!!!

  • they were back in 1996

  • wow, 1996 good graphics then. :D

  • Oh. My. God. As a kid all we could afford was to rent N64 games every now and then, and I remember playing this one endlessly whenever we brought it home. I never remembered the name of it...but to see it again is amazing. I might just Ebay this thing and buy it. It was so much fun!

  • I live in Argentina. We had no n64 games renting here, so we had to buy them (and they were expensive, yeah).

So you had to think it real hard before buying one. Wave Race and Pilot Wings had so much replay value than even today I remember them as a childhood long gone love.

  • I always loved how your character would fall off if you went on a ramp while doing a handstand, etc.

  • haha yeah and it was always followed by a, "WOAH YOU GOTTA BE CAREFUL!!"

  • I loved the games of 1996

Just the memories, the anticipation as a child

    3-D NINTENDO!!

I used to make my parents buy Rice Krispies Treats Cereal all the time at a chance of winning an N64

It killed me to wait until Christmas, but I felt lucky due to the shortages.

    I still love this game

  • Did he just say Mario 64 was too short??

  • i loved this game as a child, good times :)

  • Lol good catchy music, nice scenery and motivating announcer voice ^^

  • I think this game was what sparked my interest in any form of racing. I spent a lot of time playing this game as a kid; so much fun. It was a great game that's often forgotten about. Definitely one of my favorites. I also liked the music at the time; it was a treat to listen to.

  • this game is really special to me. anybody else out there that grew up goin to the lake with their families every weekend? this game is what made me eventually end up buying two kawasaki stand up jet skiis. there's something about the music and overall presentation (and the fact that this was from the mid 90's) that just hooks me.

  • I loved crashing to the goal post and finishing in the air..

Also loved when i did that and came first and the narrator said "You did it"!!! and i was in the water....

And i hated the fat guy...

    Great game

  • the way the girl says sunny beach gives me chills

  • since he said the thrill only last a few days when this is one of the best games for then n64 the n64 musent be that fun but that dipends ONLY!! get a nintendo system if u have 4 controllers and friends who come over EVERY!day! cause if its not your first day playing it and their not their u will get bored!

  • i used to merk fools back in the day

  • 'gaming in the bush years'; evil terrible waste of your life world of warcraft games that not only look gay but have made some of my friends anti-social, numb to the world and all round pathetic. Wave race is a healthy game.

  • Exactly... Remember when playing video games used to be a hobby and now it's a sport and/or way of life? And almost every game I see now for the PS3 or X-box 360 is some type of shooter set in an apocalyptic future that takes 100 hrs. to beat with a bunch of achievements you can get for bragging rights. Please go to hell! Instead of buying a piece of crap system that burns up without a fan on, I'll save my money and play PS2 and all the systems before that, thank you!

  • jealous much? lol

  • lol? Teenage girl like much?

  • Terribly right...

  • at 2:13

  • gross you said uumph

  • I like how he never mentioned the 2 player vs mode... does he have friends?

  • this is a great game....

teh best of Jet ski......and it's so so Funny....really..so funny!

  • actually there are 4 modes

    normal

    hard

    expert

REVERSE(its expert difficulty, but you run the courses all backwards)

    i love this game

    anyone want to compare times?

  • this is a fun game

  • maybe its tru that the game had few courses but it totally kicked ass! and the music was just awesome!!

  • god i miss the great music in this game

  • Damn i cant believe N64 games were $70 at one point.

  • Yes, I use to save my lunch money for months just to a game when I was young...lol

  • Was a tad expensive, I still play it on emulator sometimes.

  • Yeah, that's the great thing about the 64 emulators. you can go back and play the games for free that you never got to bc they were so overpriced.

  • I loved the game, but absolutely despised the announcer.

  • One of my favorites. Still playing it to this day.

  • the problem with these reveiws is the guy says nerly the same thing about evry game

    1. it's to short

    2. the grafics rule

3.we sorter hate it but thing you should rent it

corect me if I'm wrong but this is the same with starfox64, super mario 64 and this

  • @Spyster10000 I agree.

  • @Spyster10000 they called super mario 64 too short..?

if this is true then navgtr should lose all credibility. It took me months to get all the stars in that game.

starfox 64 was too short, however. I wish there were more levels.

Maybe a 3rd path for players to unlock.

  • @youngice604 , really? It took me years to complete the game. xD

  • shit,i miss this game!

  • i've played this game on emu late 90's.

I love it... the graphics, great musictracks and motivating commentary/crowd sounds, nice beach settings..

It makes me feel happy lol!

  • i remember playing this game in 97, i thought the water effects where the most realistic piece of graphics i have ever seen

  • it looks like you're jet skiiing in tang

  • i want that game

  • You see back then, games had more original characters such as dk,kirby, mario, luigi, samus, link, pokemon, yoshi, heck even ness. But now we have these loony tune-like characters that do not have good moves or games. The bottom line is Nintendo ran out of ideas during the year 2000. If you ask me, the worst NINTENDO system is gamecube. And yes I do have a lot of time on my hands.

  • One of the greatest racing games ever, period.

  • (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

  • you asshole, wave race kicks f zero in the ballz

  • WR64 isn't just a 'good' game. It's a short game for noobs, but enthusiats can play it anytime again just to beat their records. It's one of the best games of the 20th century and one of the best still to date thx the deep gameplay and track design.

  • Clinton years? Wtf does that tit have to do with gaming?

  • Policies/politics and gaming were better than nowadays. ;)

  • it doesnt. he is showing that clinton was in office when this game was released LOL

  • That water still looks better than alot of water on Wii games nowadays, shame!

  • dude yer on crack

  • It would be nice to see a new version for the Wii, with the Wii Balance Board.

  • Its on the VC now :)

  • ^ yesssir

  • Ahh...memories. Cant wait to play it on the VC.
