  • The F 15 would not have dared to break apart if Chuck Norris was in its radar range

  • i really don't see how the main gear would've came out

  • I bet the pilot gone WTF :D

  • I am in the USAF as a non destructive inspection. The NDI who inspected the jet didnt do there job

  • "The Defence Department regrets to inform you that your sons are dead because they were stupid" - Goose

  • You are one of the bunchy joker Chinarian in my list who are idoltic, irrating , made terrible comments. Go and join North Korea better still. Youtube do not want you and my mother 's family in China are better than you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Same thing happened to my model F-15 many years ago - but at least mine didn't cost $28 million :)

  • @SpectreWraith

Yeah, Once, my model f-15's left wing broke off(completely) and I still managed to land it.

  • The F-15 has shot down so many Migs it's sick. Without the loss of a single aircraft. The F-22 will make the F-15 seem like childs play. F-15 pilots have reported that in heads up visual combat training (Red Fag) agianst the F-22 they can't get a radar or IR lock even when they see the aircraft.

  • @Thomas1016

If you see them, then just gun them down. How the fuck did the f-22's let the f-15 get that close anyways?

  • @Thomas1016 Yet a superhornet got a lock on it. a multirole aircraft got a lock on an overpriced stealth aircraft. Yea... Eh...

  • heart heart t

  • Chuck Norris can land that broken plane.

  • hell ya

  • @firzenr

not if he was in the cockpit(where he should e) which broke off. it's impossible to land that plane.

  • @firzenr Arnold Schwarzenegger could keep it flying.

  • Do you think, if I join the airforce that I could become an airline pilot afterwards?.

  • Yes, that's what a lot do when they retire from the airforce.

  • @boeingman787 Yes, most people do.

  • Wow,that looked just like TWA 800's Zoom climb! Ya right.

  • nice!!!

  • my wallet!... FUCK... I dropped my wallet.. and my cellphone... dropped that too, OH SHIT!!

    ;-)

  • israel and usa is only air forces and nuclear weapons.................

    but ur soldiers r cowers.........

they even don't have the ability to defend their selves.................

  • yeah that eagle had gas because he had been out eating migs and was about to start shitting out sukhoi's

  • LOL

That was FUNNY! +1 for ya there! hahahahahahhah!!! XD

  • That's awful funny coming from a Canuck. Tell me about Canadian aviation historical achievements. I got about ten seconds to spare.

  • LMAO OWNED EM. ha

  • have fun with your outdated shit.

  • Sorry man but an F-22 or F-35 would eat your su-35 up.

  • you can only REALLY tell if they went at it for real.

  • airplanes: ur doing it wrong.

  • the plane will reach the ground ready for its D-check.

  • F-15S/MTD

  • hope the pilot survived cant replace a life but can replace a F-15

  • @dirtyDielo He did but he had a broken leg, and sued Boeing.

  • The way your shit breaks up, catches on fire and sinks you have little room to talk you russian fucktard

  • Haha thats true ringsight, the F-16's are notorious for entering deep-stalls during flameouts and such. Instead of the nose dropping down so that the aircraft can gain airspeed, it drops completely level, making any manipulation of flight controls completely useless. Nice video by the way ;)

  • learn 2 Physics

  • look at discription, this is slowed down to one-fifth the actual speed of the event!, and it did happen!

  • That would have been fucking scary... I love the animation, especially the glass blowing out.

  • Good Thing the 131st Is back to flying

  • Congress is totally F-ing stupid. Honustly. Boeing is still manufactureing the F-15K for South Korea and the F-15SG for Singapore, if they are not going to buy more F-22As to replace the old Eagles, then why in the sam hell are they not having Boeing send their F-15Ks to the USAF? Please don't tell me their doing it to wait for the dumbass F-35.

  • the f-22s are replacing the f-15s, f-16s are being replaced by f-35s. any "f-15" we sell to another country is dumbed down and is not the same quality as the ones we keep for ourselves. there is no point in making more f-15s when we have the f-22 that is far superior to any plane we or any other country has. hope this helps.

  • out of curiosity what is the difference between the F-15C and the F-15S/MTD?

  • The F-15S/MTD is a prototype or experimental plane with canards and thrust vectoring.

  • and what's wrong with Korea getting F-15Ks? they need 'em, and who knows, maybe eventually they'll have enough moxy so we can pull out

  • Is the pilot still ALIVE!

  • Yes, he suffered serious injury, but is still alive.

  • There is no need to revive the F 15 line as the F 16 Block 60 with GE F-110-GE-132 engine, a derivative of the F-110-GE-129 which is rated at 32,500 pounds of thrust not only makes more economical sense; but is a nimbler and more agile dogfighter. Couple that with its new and optimized APG-80 Active Electronic Scanning Array Targeting and Weapon Systems and you end up having a hell of a fierce all singing and dancing aircraft

  • "and you end up having a hell of a fierce all singing and dancing aircraft"

She can sing all she wants, but without a second engine, she's just really "hopping". Need two legs to dance, especially if the other dance teams in competition are two-legged, er, two-engined. XD

  • The Israelis might disagree with you. They elected to use the f-16 (Sufa) over anything else available out there, and they have to face Migs and Sukhoi. Being that they are almost constantly in a state of alert and do fly offensively on a continuous basis. I would say they made my point here. Finally it boils down to the pilot, he can fly or he can be an ace. The Israeli proved that too. Oh BTW they have F-15 also, and they Still bank on the (SUFA's). Hmm..! Good rational

  • The IAF is only concerned about protecting Israeli airspace and local interests. Nobody in their neighborhood has full squadrons of up-to-date twin-engined jets with fully trained aircrews.

I'm talking about my USAF, which has to go far and wide and into different places. WE wouldn't dream of dominating the battlespace by banking only on a single-engined jet.

BTW, you do know that we call the F-16 "f*cking lawn darts" right? Drops like a rock when the engine dies. Maintainers hate it.

  • IMO, should re-open F-15C/D lines. Tone down F-35A (USAF) procurement and upgrade F-15 configuration for a 20 yr block deterrence.

With Tranche 2 F-22 (380 total) to supplement.

For USAF to rely fully on stealth concepts of F-35/22 could add to unknown reliability maintenance costs. Taking a big gamble.

Perhaps better to layer capability posture.

Arm a modernized F-15 with AIM version of SM-6, anti-IR laser, et al.

  • "With Tranche 2 F-22 (380 total) to supplement"

We'll be lucky to get even half that amount, what with the way DoD is playing the procurement game.

  • ...i see ervything is clear now.. (not biengsacastic)

  • CNN*

  • thats true ehh it happended it someone it was on CCN

  • are we ever gonna get rid of these planes? i heard we were keeping them at least through 20205...

but wait, we're gonna stop bying F-22 planes soon...?

  • yeah so were keeping the B-52's util 2042 or something are they like mad?! then by then their going to find another way to update them or something and keep them to 4000

  • why would they be "mad" about keeping a proven platform in inventory that doesn't have significant maintainence issues (a la B-1B), or such a high value asset it can't be forward deployed to theaters on a regular basis because of sensitive equipment and maintanence (B-2)? We've saved BILLIONS by not getting rid of the B-52, because we'd have to offset by building more bombers that have higher costs to maintain and deploy.

  • Was'nt the longerons on 180 aircraft found to be at fault? Out of original specs?

  • this is from the 131st fighter wing in st. louis

  • fail

  • The f-15s are well past their expiration date. Stick a fork in them, they're done.

    More JSFs and F-22s please!

  • Yes, because the F-22s aren't even ready to fly yet, and they're years behind schedule...

  • they're in service fool

  • The f22 has been in service since 2005 and Raptor fighter wings are already stationed in Virginia, Florida, Alaska, and Japan. What the hell are you talking about?

  • OK, sorry for not being clear. Technically, they shouldn't be flying. At least in my opinion. And yes, they were behind schedule, and still are. They dropped the number of planes being built to 183, down from 750. That's a little significant, no? And let's not even go into the technical and engineering errors this plane has gone through already.

  • There is nothing they've gone through that isn't normal; everything is working fine with the raptor program now; raptor pilots are scoring incredible victories in simulated combat; and the number of raptors were dropped due to economic reasons not technical reasons. The Airforce wanted to be able to fly the raptor and determine desired upgrades before LM begins producing the B,C,D models, that is another reason for the "delay".

  • Theres no Raptors stationed in US bases in Japan...not permanently anyways. Raptors have flown to Japan tho

  • Yeah, I guess they just sent them there to visit or something. I heard talk of the Bush administration wanting to sell the f22 to Japan, but some in congress oppose selling it. Bush also wanted Great Britain to have access to some of the classified avionics information on the f35 program, but another congressman opposed it saying that Great Britian needs to tighten some of their laws regarding sharing information to third parties. We'll see.

  • I doubt US will ever sell f-22s to any country until it has something better. Why? Cos US dont want anyone knowing about secrets of its best weapon.

F-35 is not just american i think, its JSF, meaning its being developed by whole bunch of countries together. And a special version of f-35 is being built with britain just for britain i believe.

  • no's we will have 3 F-35 models for OUR military

    F-35A is for the airforce

    F-35B is for the navy

    F-35C is for the USMC

actually the B and A variants might be the opposite

  • Yes US will use all 3 models for their military. But other countries who participated in its development will get it too. Australia will be getting one of the models (probably A) i know for a fact...

  • "because the F-22s aren't even ready to fly yet"

    What...are...you...talking about? There are already 5 squadrons in service; 3 combat, 1 training & 1 weapons testing/academy.

    "and they're years behind schedule"

I might say that about the F-35, but the F-22 is already In Operational Capacity, or I've been imagining them flying over my head everyday.

  • They were years behind schedule to begin with. Sure, they may be flying now, but expect closure with the F-22 next year, production-wise.

And while we're on the subject, how many F-15 squads are there? ;)

  • "They were years behind schedule to begin with."

    a) That's your opinion, and b) By whose timeline? BTW, "late" is quite different from "unready", duh.

"expect closure with the F-22 next year"

Wow, adding clairvoyance to being asinine I see. Mom must be so proud. Just don't quit your day job to be a psychic.

Get over yourself. I can get to some F22s anytime I want (in the duty day), and not even I can predict when production really ends.

    c) None, as in no F15 "squads". ;p

  • Haha, this brightened my day. Thanks. :)

  • none?! wtf i work on F-15s every day and have been for the last year, look up the 71st at langley if you think theres no F-15 squadrons left. wow what a douchebag, are you an airman basic? lol

  • "Douchebag"? Notice that I specifically wrote "squads" NOT "squadrons"! What, forget to check that little detail? Oh, wait, I get it, "that step wasn't in the T.O.". Mouthing-off like a typical maintainer.

Watch your mouth, child. U never know who might be on the other end, like, say, an NCO.

And what's with the blabbing about your unit? Brain Fart about COMSEC? Maybe you'd like me to call over to your AMU's Security Office to root out the loudmouth boy.

  • they fly alot but only somewhat recently (within last year) have been mission capable. my squadron was doing their O.N.E. missions for them for a while. they required constant repainting for each panel removed so much time needed that they werent able to complete their very easy missions, but no worries we arent doing their missions anymore. and when i say we i mean F-15 squadron next door.

  • they are going to buy 20 more f-22's cuz of this

  • The Raptor has also shown structural problems due to failure during metal manufucturing. What i didn´t know is that the Air National Guard has Eagles

  • It´s still a good airplane. Just because one orange rotted on the tree, you´ll throw all others away ?

  • It´s still a good aircraft. Just because one orange rotted on the tree, you´ll gotta throw all others away ?

  • Its not a question of the aircraft design but the reality of its situation. Nine other Eagles were found to have similar but not yet fatal problems; the airforce will not fix them. Forty percent of the entire Eagle fleet has not yet been cleared to return to service. As the ACC commander said "i've got a fleet that is 100% fatigued and forty percent of them have bad parts...the long term future of the Eagle is in question".

  • The airframes in question were built from 1978 to 1985. The planes are from 12-30 years old already. The long term plan should be scrapping most and putting the rest in museums as the best fighter to ever see combat.

  • oops...22-30 :-)

  • Right. As I said, the design is not in question, but any airframe that is as fatigued as our f15s cannot continue to go on forever, especially as much as our pilots train with them.

  • This is a perfect reason to buy more F22s

  • they are buying 20 more because of this

  • neat

  • Yea he broke his arm- All the f-15s had outlived how long they were meant to fly for. When they were all grounded they found out that something like 40% had stress in the same spot. My older bro flies F-15;s out of florida. He lost his canopy last year while giving an insentive ride for some mechanic. Said it got a little windy

  • What? that plane was old. The F-15E's are still flying, and wtf? the gov't covered it up? how the fuck would you know about it? Take a look at the world. We have more money in our schools than almost every other country in the world. go move to china if you hate America so much. I cant believe I defend people like you.

  • f-15e is new, f-15a-d are not

  • yeah? i work on em.

  • maybe you should blame your kids ethics or how you raised them for their bad grades or whatever, and not try to find excuses.

  • Time to retire old F-15s.

  • He suffered a messed up arm, I think wetting himself was the least of his worries. But hey he's alive to tell the tale.

  • Oh my god! I would've wet myself!
