I love the forester b/c it is not all pimpy looking. Total sleeper. My only complaint - can't hear the turbo whine. I miss that from my old 740 Volvo t. sweet ride. I smoke every Mustang, Camaro, or front wheel rice rocket I encounter. Got my ass handed to me by a Corvette, but that's to be expected.

I really liked the more boxy shape of the older forester xt. This one is just too big. Every car company seemed to be going bigger and I hate seeing subaru follow the leader instead of BEING the leader. Still a subaru tho, gotta give it that. AWD is never unappreciated.

its just all about consumer preference these days, families are looking for bigger cars and the new outback seems bigger than a forester from 02 or so. this just gives it a better family car rating i suppose.

I will be in dealer this summmmmer, but one thing I hate is silver plastic dash.. Looking so cheap,,, damn this jap version has soft touch dash material...

why american version always get cheaper and uglier version,, not subaru but in overall.. Even Ford,GM's euro/asian version has better design and quality than U.S version...
