  • @5Location5 thumbs this up so every 1 can see i had exactly the same problem but when i read some forums etc i found this out

    1. when you put the cod 4 disc in it will say play SP play MP and underneath Uninstall

    2. go to my computer then it should show the disc "call of duty 4" right click and then open

3.there's alot of different things here but what you need to click is "setup" and it should have the little blue shield thing

HOPEFULLY IT SHOULD WORK IT DID FOR ME HOPE THIS HELPED

    GOOD LUCK

  • Yea same

  • look i need to format my computer and i want to save my profile and my rank for cod4 what should i save and where to put all of this after the formate plz help...(good video) ;)

  • NOOB

  • Hey, recently my PC was infected by a virus and couldnt start, so i did a format. Previously i had my "players" folder copied, cause i wanted my profile to be safe. When i reinstalled the game, i overwrited the "players" folder with my older one, and when i start it says that an error occured while reading the stats, and that my stats have been reset... What can i do to fix that (Before i was L.55 , approx 16000 kills, all challenges, and i want my profile back)

  • Umm. You shouldn't have had to overwrite anything. If you reformated then there should be NO profiles in the CoD4 folders (Because you reformated). So I'm sorry but I do NOT know what the problem is. If I were you, I would; copy the profile folder, DELETE any others that you do NOT want, and then paste your profile folder with ALL challenges and stuff into there. Hope this helped! Thanks for watching! Please subscribe and look at my other videos!

  • i had made a back up on a Flash, and then after i reinstalled the game , i replaced the folder.

  • Sorry. I have NO idea what the problem is. Thanks for subscribing!!! Hope you figure it out. Thanks again for watching!
