@nosignal2121 1, paintball is completely unrealistic and costs a minimum of 500 dollars for anything slightly realistic, and those things perform terribly.

2. airsoft can reach out to up to 100 YARDS accurately without even arching the shot(paintball=75-100 feet if your lucky)

3. Its a high performance sports tool and isnt for the typical casual airsofter,it is for the dedicated sportsman.

4. paintball just hurts more, if you enjoy hurting your friends so much u shud probly see a psychiatrist

plus people like my self and many others in the US do own real guns but airsoft offers a safe realistic training solutions as opposed to you and your friends shooting real 30.06 rounds at each other(FROWNED UPON) or shooting at paper targets(teaches accuracy but the training is about useless in a real firefight.

I know this isn't a specifically an airsoft question, but how often do you have to zero in a rifle scope? I thought it was every time the scope was detached and reattached, but I can be wrong. So, what necessitates a zeroing?

Generally, it's a good idea to zero your scope everytime you attach it or otherwise if you store/transport it attached then zero it at the site before a game day begins.

It's airsoft so your scope shouldn't technically need re-zeroing if you put it back in the same spot but it doesn't hurt. Its general a good idea as well over time due to environmental factors as well as rig wear so you can always be sure to zero your weapon before use to be absolutely sure.

@csmybuttt if you could want to you can also just zero in your scope, then put lines where you turn the switch on the outer edges where the lines meet outside the thingy so in a game after you attach it if u wanna zero in just move the little turnin thingy (to adjust for windage etc) to where it was originaly by following ur lines u drew and uhh yeah tht was confuziling well if u get it good for if you didn't get oh well srrys to hard to explain

@csmybutt It means adjusting your gun to shoot spot on at a certain range. Such as "I have a fifty-yard zero on my AR-15," which means your gun shoots exactly to the crosshairs at fifty yards. On real guns, zeroes can intersect, like 50 yards and 150.

The gun doesn't shoot with SUCH accuracy now does it?, I find it hard to believe that you shot the cigarette off hes hand, not to mention shoot into hes mouth and him catching it with hes teeth (or whatever happened there) as much as you are paid, your not paid enough to take the risk of losing an eye

are those shells full of air pressure or just a small part? is it a single regular bb/pellet-sized projectile? does it go as fast as a pump gun (in prime condition) with max number of pumps, (usually ten to help maintain integrity of mechanism)? can you get a refiller for the shells?

@Idolcruisefix the compressed gas is in the gun itself. The shells are a straight-through tube in that sense and funnel the compressed air onto the BB (that is loaded into the shell by you). So the shells are 100% reusable.
