I removed the smaller one and in the back I used shorter ones ...

No, the drop basically comes from the weight of the truck ;-)

i think im just dumb. my understanding was that there are shocks, oil filled/outter springs. then there are ones oil filled with internel springs- droop setup. can you clarify

Ok, lets say you have shocks, oil filled with outer springs. The shocks can move/travel 100mm.

Your outer springs have a length of 50mm.

Your truck now has 50mm drop and 50mm suspension ;-)
