This is no different from the American pop music that they make right now. If music enters someones heart there is no place for the Quran and of the Quran enters a persons heart there is no place for music.

This music is haram. Only the Duff (small hand drum) is allowed in Islam. And I live in the west and I've been exposed toe every type of music.

As'salaam Alykm. Some people think that every kind of music but the "duff" (single sided drum) is forbidden in Islam. However, some say that as far as the music is coupled with the glorifying verses, (as those in hamd or naat) it is halal. Allah knows better.
