@Dubbyystepp if you complete the game and read all the codex pages, you'll see that it is Altaïr who writes them, there he will explain that he made a new armor that is strong and light, he'll also talk about the double blade, poison blade and the gun :)

The one thing I hated about AC2 was that you couldn't replay the memory sequences. Out of all the scenes in the game, the one at 7:35 made me regret replayability the most.
