This is... fine. It just lacks the eccentricities that are in Kate's song, which don't always click with some people. The Dreaming in general had a sense of archaic and randomness that this lacks, which is good for them, I guess.

It's not like Kate tours. It's delightful to hear new incarnations of the song since Kate does not. The strings add, the lack of crazy Kate vox detracts, and I'm tickled to hear it regardless. Best Kate cover ever is still The Futureheads' "Hounds."

I love Kate Bush and her version but I don't miss the elvish yodeling (which made me laugh hysterically the first time I heard it) Ra Ra Ra Riot is kind of new so we will see how they develope in comparison to such an amazing and unique female musician who has virtually no peers or equals

the arrangement is nice, but wes miles' voice really isn't suited for a song like this; his vocal range is too limited and his delivery is too bland. but think of it this way: it's a cover. covers are rarely as good as the originals they derive from.

Well, the arrangement is gorgeous. The violin and bells (on the album version) are great. I think what most people have an issue with is the singer's voice. His falsetto can be a bit annoying, and he doesn't really carry any emotion whatsoever, just kind of blandly fills the space.

god I hate to bash this song. I expected something brilliant by all the comments on kate's version but my feelings were right. no where near as great as kate's version. in my opinion the song sounds better sung by a woman, this guy has no power in his voice.

Of all of the Kate Bush covers, this is the only one I like. Of course, Kate's original is just too brilliant, as is the rest of "The Dreaming" album, but Ra Ra Riot did a nice cover. Not brilliant, but nice.

I love both versions! I have never listened to Ra Ra Riot before, but I love his voice. At the same time I love Kate Bush and no one can ever really compare to the original.

Some songs shouldn't be remade by anyone. Most of Kate Bush's discography is included (especially this song). I've heard okay covers of Hounds of Love and Running Up That Hill.. but I really don't like this.
