Ron Paul is the guy that delivered the black familys baby in the 60s before they got thrown out of the hospital. if you're looking at the libertarian party then Ron Paul is your best bet. The reason why they held off for so long to choose a candidate in 08 is because the LP put all their hopes on Dr.Paul. Granted he may be a republican congressman but alot of libertarians use the GOP to get elected because the LP doesn't have enough recognition to get elected on it's own.
