who plays these games when you can play better stuff. this is not the kind of game that had survived the years. this game has long gone forgotten so i wouldn't be playing it at all.
I managed to track this one down, or so I thought. I got the disk package but the game that I got in its place was Famicom Grand prix 2: 3d hot rally.
Hah! That's awesome. I love F1 Race for the Game Boy-- it's enough of a reason for me to consider getting a four-player adapter for the GB. Seeing the NES version is really cool.
I see that startup message about "This product is manufactured and sold by Nintendo Co. LTD." on a lot of your videos about the FDS, did the FDS have some sort of copy protection or encryption system as people say the mega Drive had with its TMSS technology?
Luke, remember F-1 Race for the gameboy? Now THAT was a fun game! I remember it came with the four player lock system for adding more friends and racing wach other...
Think I got three copies of this game in that big shipment that I got, but I think all copies were busted. Nice to finally see one up and running! :) Looks really neat!
when i saw this title, it reminded me of f1 hero/Ferrari grandprix challenge, i wish that Famicom console was released in the UK lol, the games on it look awesome.
hmmm.... i have this on the Game Boy! I really love that version, i had it always with me when i was a kid, it kept me occupied until... well the batteries died XD
yeah luke!!!!!! great game and great review!!! i just love the famicom games and this one with mario and luigi on the cover its just amazing. Im gonna start my famicom collection and thanx to your videos and you i alredy know a bunch of great games! thanx luke!! see you around man
Excellent. RC Pro-AM holds quite a legendary status here, seeing as it was created here of course. I'd recommend you pick up Cobra Triangle when you next can, because that was based on the exact same engine.
I've got to stop making this list bigger with choice titles Luke, you're spoiling me with undiscovered stuff!
You know the gameboy version is actually look funnier.

Seems like an interesting game, I could see it on the shelves sometime in 1986/1987. Too bad it never made it here to the USA.

More for other viewers than for Luke: It's sequel,
Famicom Grand Prix II: 3D Hot Rally, is even better. Like a Nintendo version of Enduro.

I'll pass on this title, no drifting, seems like a really good 2600 game.

Do you have the super mario bros for the disc drive?

I really like the music, the pit stop system is interesting, how you can't avoid going to the pit stop.

"change to side B"?? Those were the good old days. I sure wish it had made it to the US.
Looks great, too!

Great video lukemorse1!! What type of TV are you using? Because games from older systems, and even your 360, all look great on it.

I remember F-1 Race on GameBoy, I was shit at it, but I remember it all the same.

Looks fun! The sound of the car sliding sounds a lot like Mario's back stepping in Mario 3. Could just be a coincidence.

It also looks like that game from the first Game Center CX DS game, I wonder if this is what it was taking off?

That game might have been the inspiration to Mario Kart, what do you think?

Hahaha this game looks pretty wild. Impressive graphics too - they look as good as a master system game!! Did those disks hold more memory and such?

You always skip one part or another for a while now :-)
But still, I enjoy your videos since day one!

When i saw the title i thought it would be like F-1 Race for the original Game Boy. You know the one that came with the multitap thingy.
But this looks kinda cool, and i might be getting a Famicom with a disk system so this is going to "the list". =)
